There was nothing to dislike

It's an exceptionally good hotel, fantastic value for money. Food really good and an excellent choice. All staff incredibly friendly, and I think her name was Alicia, the receptionist at the arrival desk, was absolutely brilliant, welcoming and helpful.

Beautiful view from the room, lovely to be able to hear the sea. Beds were comfortable, room was spotless and cleaners came in daily. Breakfast choice was huge and tasty.

Nothing fab hotel. Surprised it was only a 3 star

Excellent hotel. The room was lovely with an amazing beach view. We were surprised with bubbles and macrooms in our room on arrival. Evening entertainment in hotel and quite a buzz about the place. Heated pool too. Overall an excellent stay. Wished i was staying longer.

Room was small but really all we needed.

Loved the sea view from the balcony and appreciated the upgrade to a front vs side view. The breakfast buffet had many, many choices.

Nothing to dislike but it would be helpful if there had been tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The location on the promenade; the friendly and helpful staff and hotel facilities. Alecia on reception and Elena in the dining room, were especially helpful.

The buffet lacked Vegetarian and vegan options. Also no signs on the food saying what it contains.

Very beautiful balcony and nice room. The buffet had a very good selection of food and tasted great. The hotel has a bike room with all needed tools and pumps where you can safely store your bike. Even a cleaning bay for the bikes. Staff were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Definitely would recommend!

The seafront lounge was poorly ventilated and stuffy, especially in the mornings. I appreciate that the outside air is cool in winter but the doors or windows could have been opened at the start of the day to freshen the room.

Staff pleasant and helpful, especially the kitchen staff when advising what dishes were suitable for someone with garlic intolerance. We also very much enjoyed the music in the evenings.

Nothing everything was Perfect

I Loved that a bottle of cava and chocolates with a note from the Hotel in our room because it was our wedding anniversary, l loved the staff interaction with the hotel customers, the staff were so friendly and helpful, l was impressed with the attention to spills and the topping up of dishes on the buffet, also of the prompt removal of used dishes from tables at meal times. Definitely one of my best hotel stays. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The outside pool was supposed to be heated. It was nice and warm for two days and MUCH colder for the other two days. Despite my report, it did not improve. As it was one of the reasons to pick this hotel for our stay in the winter period, it should be noted.

Amazing hotel. Great and rich breakfast. Fantastic dinner buffet. Best location in town, almost at the beach but close to the castle and shops. Lovely staff at the reception and very kind Patxi and Elena in the restaurant room. Altogether great experience.

Everything was so perfect, fantastic location at the beach, with beautiful view. Everything was clean, the staff was so kind and helpful, the breakfast and the dinner was excelent as well. Thank you all at Hotel Helios Costa Tropical and i will be back soon of course. Muchisimas gracias por todo!

The hotel is right across from the beach. Near restaurants and shops. Lovely view of the bay. Very nice hotel with pool, top floor terrace and jacuzzi.
