Nothing, met our expectations throughout

The location of this hotel was excellent, as advertised just across the river from the old town accessible from the roman traffic free bridge a short walk away. Again a very efficient check in from Paco who produced a local map and marked various sites and eateries for our benefit. Its worth remembering that in Spain a lot of restaurants close for the afternoon and do not open again until 8-8.30pm. The view from the room was brilliant and the hotel had a roof terrace with 360 view of the town of Cordoba and a bar which was open from 4-11pm. The hotel does not do meals other than breakfast. The staff in general were friendly and efficient. Our room was modern with tea/coffee making facilities and very clean

Noise from the elevators and the corridor travels to the rooms easily.

Location is great. Hotel in general is comfortable. Parking garage is a good asset. Pool terrace with a view over the city is wonderful.

The triple room is not four stars, quite small and poorly organized. It was designed for a double bed or twin beds, but they put in the third as well, so no acces to plug your phone. Also, poor heating power. The most annoying things were that there are cold tiles above the bed, and there is not toilet brush in the bathroom.

The location was fit for walks in the historic center, because is very close to it. It has an outdoor swimming pool and the breakfast is good. However, they have a conference center, but not a restaurant. The bathroom was clean.

Room furniture is a little below true 4* standard

Bathroom was well up to 4* standard. Pretty good breakfast selection and very nice roof-top terrace bar with great views across the river to the old town. Bed was exceptionally comfortable.

The only complaint would be that the rooms can sometimes be a little too warm and stuffy.....

We stay here often as we really like to hotel, this visit was extra special as we were able to have a drink on the rooftop terrace bar ( we visit mostly in winter when it is usually closed) and we had a room with a view of the mezquita and cathedral across the river. We always sleep very well as the beds and the pillows are so comfortable. The entire place is always spotlessly clean, the towels are large and fluffy, the rooms are quiet and the staff are always friendly and efficient. We will be back soon!

Only negative at present is the lack of a restaurant but I assume it will re-open at some stage. In the meantime, they were able to recommend a local restaurant.

Excellent location within 10 minutes walk of the Mezquita, good initial experience at Reception with underground parking for the car, comfortable & spacious room with great view of the Mezquita & Alcazar and plentiful breakfast selection in large room. The icing on the cake was the rooftop terrace bar, on a warm sunny day, also with views of the main sights. PS: The room with a view was a paid up-grade.

The only downside was slow internet connectivity. If you are working remotely and need to video conference then this may not be the place for you. The internet is only good for checking emails and browsing the internet.

The rooms are spacious and clean. We slept very comfortably during our five nights in Cordoba. The pillows were wonderful. The location is great. It’s walk distance to all of the mayor sites. The breakfast was good. I especially liked how they had eggs, great coffee and a variety of pastries.

The breakfast was ok but very basic and not such a good quality. The coffee machine only had black coffee and no other option. If you wanted a cappuccino you had to pay for it extra. We requested a double room and got a triple room with 3 separate beds. It was a surprise and I didn’t like it that the room was full of beds.. I also requested a higher floor and we were in the ground floor. No mention of it at checkin that they might not be able to accommodate my request. The hotel itself needs a bit of an upgrade and renovation. Previously we stayed in Hesperia Sevilla and that was fabulous compared to this one.

Great location, big spacious room and bathroom. Safe private garage for the car and super nice view from the rooftop.

Unfortunately there was a stain on a bed sheet and pity the roof top pool wasn't yet open. Roof top bar could perhaps stay open a little bit longer in the evenings. Parking is extra charge and quite expensive. We had a bit of a problem with the staff when extending our reservation which was impossible to do both via booking.com and equally stressful and confusing in person.

There was nothing to not like.

Staff of Hesperia Cordobá were exceptionally helpful and warmly genuine. My travel partner left her phone in a taxi and staff was most helpful. In addition, my travel partner experienced a dental emergency, again Hesperia staff not only recommended a dental office, they called and made an appointment. Further, my travel partner left earrings at the dental office and Hesperia staff communicated diligently to help resolve this latest challenge. In summary, Hesperia Cordobá staff exceeded a 5-Star rating.

I was not impressed by the staff/company. The day I booked the hotel I recieved an email with a link to all of the things they offer. Within this link was the opportunity to book a late checkout for 40€ I opted for this as I knew I needed it due to my schedule. This was offered to me via email link many times. I booked 3 months in advance and when it came to the day I was told that it was no longer available and that my booking had not gone through. I left at 12:30 checkout was 12. It just annoyed me because I was flying back in to meet my partner having had to attended a wedding and I needed a shower and rest before driving again to Seville. Having just driven from Malaga after a 5am flight. Need to change the advertising and emails and then have staff that can react to things on the day a little better

A really SUPERB hotel! Only 5 minutes walk away from the footbridge into Córdoba. Free parking was available near the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet and the view of the city was beautiful. The breakfast was AMAZING - serving a great selection of delicious continental and cooked breakfast food and drinks. The staff were wonderful - welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay at Hesperia Córdoba again!

Only concern was that our cleaner took the spare access card from our room which was a security issue (she could then access our room under the impression it was us). We noticed quickly and got it back but I doubt this is hotel policy

Great location with easy walking access into the centre and the Roman Bridge. Room was large for a city location and very clean. (Note we paid extra for a superior river view room). Reception and restaurant staff very helpful. Breakfasts had a very good choice for the price of the hotel - including the options for vegetarians. Overall good value
