    Nothing - all was perfect

I can't praise this place enough. It was perfection: comfortable, relaxed, beautifully appointed, lovely helpful and discreet staff, excellent breakfast, phenomenal location. Stayed for 3 nights of utter bliss. The village is completely intact from medieval times and fascinating to explore but also makes a good base for traveling to Segovia, Sepúlveda and other locales. And then to come "home" to the quiet luxury of this perfect hotel.

    Absolutely nothing.

This was the highlight of our driving trip in Spain--a glorious place in most exquisite surroundings. The room was beautiful, the view stunning. Quiet, peaceful, beautifully appointed, delicious buffet breakfast. Heaven on earth!

There is no individual air conditioner, just a hotel-wide system that they turn on "when it's hot," which may not be what you think. It was not on when we were there. It cooled enough at night that it wasn't a problem, but had to sleep with the windows open and thus let a couple of mosquitoes in. Coupled with the hard bed, it was not conducive for good sleep. The town of Pedraza itself is lovely. Be warned that if you go on a Monday or Tuesday, most everything will be closed, including the castle and some other attractions of the town, and most of the restaurants. There was only one dining option for dinner. The upside is that you have the town to yourself.

This hotel has some spectacular views, perched as it is on the edge of the city. Sitting on the balcony, watching the storks swoop down into the valley, the million starlings and finches zip around, and the eagles soar overhead was spectacular. There is a stork's nest right by the window, and they were nesting. It was fascinating to watch them feed. Pedraza is a small medieval town, wonderfully preserved. The only parking lot (the central lot of the town) is a short walk away, but the hotel is on the one ring road and you can drop off bags at the door. The hotel is beautiful, with a gorgeous garden, tasty and complete breakfast (best croissant I've had outside Paris), and friendly staff. We went on a Monday, and had the entire place almost to ourselves.

    Nothing

The hotel was a delight, stunning setting in a beautiful little hamlet, an absolute gem of a find...nothing to fault...even had a stork nesting in a tree right outside our balcony...

The rooms are a little tired, armchair fabric stained and frayed for example, but it was the end of the season.

Pedraza is a lovely little town and this was the perfect place for a one night stay. The room was cosy with a stunning view. Very helpful staff who told us where we would find a restaurant open on an October Wednesday!

the Communication with reception was difficult also there was a huge information clear file with lots of info but nothing in English...seems such a shame that English speaking people are not catered for slightly better.

Excellent room & buffet breakfast very quiet and laid back medieval Village with hardly any tourists!

No extractor fan in the bathroom

It is a beautiful restored house. We had a balcony with table and chairs that overlooked the garden where we had a picnic and coffee brought to our room by the receptionist.

Top floor does not have lift access. Also these rooms have heavy timber beams with parts of the room giving little headroom. We had two rooms and both guests severely knocked their heads on the beams.

Modern, comfortable interior, beautifully restored traditional exterior. Excellent breakfast. All facilities are first rate. Request a room on first floor. All rooms have great views.

The central heating did not work at all in one of two double rooms booked, and overheated wildly in the other with the thermostat not functioning. My friends could not sleep, even with the window and door opened to cool. In the middle of the night, they finally removed the battery from the thermostat. We were given a small oil heater, but in the morning the floor tiles were freezing in the room and bathroom. The rooms were at the top of the hotel, with nice wooden beams, but the beams were too low, my partner knocked her head twice. They should only be single rooms. The breakfast was awful, including stale, curled slices of cheese and bread, skewered stale cheese and old cherry tomatoes The selection of fare was unacceptable for a room rate of E95, cereals limited to corn flakes and some choclate thing, and the usual range of sweet stuff and tortilla etc., which may have been ok. There was no staff member in attendance to assist. A bad experience, the worst by far in four years of travelling in wonderful, reasonable Spain, staying in many excellent, good value hotels. Could do a lot better in the centre of beautiful Pedraza.

asked for upper room hoping for good views but ended up in attic loft space with low beams, both my husband and I kept banging out heads. We aren't tall. Hotel should mention it's a room with restricted height as resulted in a disappointing experience for both of us.

Location, splendid breakfast, terrace. Parking plentiful, lots of excellent restaurants to hand. Lovely feel and standard of interior.

Bathroom facilities are not convenient. There was always a puddle on the floor after taking a shower. Breakfast could be more variable. For example, no hot food.

Amazing location in a small quiet medieval village. Outstanding views from the rooms. Clean, modern and cosy rooms and nice decoration of the hotel. A perfect place for an overnight stop.
