The room could do with some design improvements of the lighting (more ambience in the room) and more flattering lighting in the bathroom. Another important improvement could be to integrate some sound proofing to the bathroom and place a handle on the door to that makes it easier to slide it open from the inside.

We loved the quiet spot and promixity to a beautiful lake, walking routes and town center. The villa is beautiful and very charming.

The room was designed by somebody who doesn't stay in hotels. The wardrobe doors hit the safe door if the safe was open and had left marks on the wood of the door. In the bedroom, a panel could be slid open so that the person in the bedroom could watch the person in the bathroom whether that person liked it or not! The bath was ridiculously short because of a peculiar glass counter that ran wall-to-wall. A longer bath would have been more comfortable. Only one bin and the desk was taken up with the TV leaving no space to work with a laptop in a comfortable position.

The villa is beautiful and the rooms are clean and pleasant. The location is good, with excellent access to the town and its restaurants. Spa is pleasant. The staff were efficient and the car parking was very good if expensive.

The breakfast was a HUGE disappointment! Although the price is high, there is literally nothing to eat. We only got some toasts and few slices of cheese and that was it. My husband made a complaint at the reception, but they did not show much interest, so we left the hotel hungry and angry. I feel like I was robbed. And the indifference of staff makes it even worse. If you decide to stay there, don't choose an option with breakfast included, it's a fraud. And the room could have been cleaner. The ventilation looks like it has never been cleaned.

I didn't like the layout of the room, the only window was adjacent to the outside arcade corridor, so for privacy reasons we had to have the curtains all time closed, and the room was dark and not connected to the garden because of that.

I was surprised by the price to quality ratio. Out of season, in Puigcerdad I would expect a lot more for a €230 room. It was small, the fittings are all a bit tired, and the 30€ breakfast was pretty pathetic. I've had better breakfast in hostels than that. I think its a €120 to €150 place, but not more

There was an incident with a staff member that made me feel a little uncomfortable. I was dressed down after a jog through the woods and asked about the pool bookings and they sharply asked if I was even a guest. Which took me by surprise, perhaps it was a cultural difference situation and they were only being direct. Everything and everyone else was pleasant.

The stay was satisfactory, to clarify I wasn't disappointed by any stretch of the imagination. The spa services are very nice and the masseuse was friendly and had good pressure which is hard for me to find personally. I loved that the bathroom had heated floors and a deep and long tub. I was also allowed an early check in which came in handy after a long travel day. I did not try the onsite breakfast. The room was very spacious and had a garden view. The hotel has an excellent location, everything is a 10-15 minute walk for the most part.

Restaurant was not open on the night we stayed which was not apparent when we booked. Silicon sealant and tile grout in the bathroom needed renovation.

We were staying in the room with the view to the lake and it was very nice. The hotel is very old and you can see it in every detail. Our room had traces of a spiders web on the ceiling. The body cream was half full. So they left the bottle from previous guests. Now with COVID it is even more irritating. It was extremely hot in the room. We had to sleep with the window wide open (imagine in December). The room didn’t have kettle and tea, but they say you can go to hotel bar to ask for a hot water 24/7. When we were passing by at 23.00 the bar was closed. We asked if they are planning to lighten the fireplace and they said no because they don’t have paper to light it up. In general the hotel gave us really good emotions. It is old and has its taste. If we are coming back? I don’t think so.
