Good location near metro stop. Many nearby shops, bars, restaurants, and even a public market. Friendly and helpful staff. Modern bathroom, generally quiet. Our room even had a balcony with a table and view. Air conditioning worked well. Good WiFi

for the blanket they use a sheet and not a cover, which is a bit gross. given the price of the room, maybe they could have used decent covers

easy to access, right across the quatro caminos metro station. the room was very clean. there were power sockets near the desk. supermarkets and restaurants close by.

My husband said that the bed was too soft, but I thought it was really nice.

The room felt luxurious for budget travellers: the bathroom, the lighting, the view out of the window, the many wall sockets, the table... There's also a cheap food store (Aldi) right next to it! And a metro station is really close by.

The first night was tough due to the AC not working, but they really did make an effort to resolve it once we told them the next day. Suggest to keep a fan or two available for your guests!

Fun location. Javier was an amazing host. We had issues with our AC and when he failed to resolve it, he upgraded us to a larger room.

Very friendly staff, who spoke good English. Lovely decor in the rooms. Private bathroom with shower. Hairdryer included. Good air conditioning. Surprisingly quiet in the side street where the hotel is located. Basically a small hotel - didn't feel like a hostel. Just a few 100 mtrs from Cuatro Caminos metro station. Loads of cafes and fast food outlets like McDonalds and Taco Bell a few minutes walk from hostel. A nice 45 minute walk to the centre of the city, where all the main tourist attractions are or 3 or 4 stops on the metro - 10 journeys for approx 8€!

if you have neighbors watching TV, you can hear that quite well.

Close to metro so you are within minutes in the center of Madrid really a lot of good restaurants nearby beds are comfortable and the rooms have good quality airco. Rooms are clean.

Some Staff might have had more facility with English. Staff should have some discretion regarding rules: eg When I was there, I had injured both my bicep tendons and could not lift or strain my arms.I am 79 yers old, not frail but injured at this time. I asked for someone to come bring my luggage down to the reception desk for checkout. I was informed that the rule is “We don’t do that”. This is insensitive; such a rule may be a good guideline, but a willing response would have been kind, and one discretionary act would not turn a receptionist into a porter.

The room had good storage, a desk and chair, and even a bidet. The windows opened. The bed and linens were very good.

Our room was on the top floor and only had one small window on the slanted part of the ceiling that we could not open. This made the room somewhat stuffy. The parking was also very tight and somewhat difficult.

Overall a clean, affordable place to stay.
