If you're a single traveler looking to meet other people, this is not a good option. There is no real common relaxing area, so you don't meet other people from the hostel. The kitchen is also not a real kitchen. It only has a coffee machine and a microwave, you can't cook there! Bathrooms should be cleaned/restocked/checked more often. Some staff (manager?) was very unfriendly.

In general, the installation is quite old. The windows are not soundproof, so if u are not a good sleeper, you will listen to all and struggle the night. In addition, the room walls are too thin, we had a family next to us that arrived every day at 1am, and their kid was jumping in their bed, and it was shaking our furniture of our the room. In the end, you can not have everything if u are a good sleeper. Definitely go for it. For us, it was good because we basically did not stay in the room, and the price was really good.

This place is a well 7, good location and cheap, however do not expect more than that. The location is really good. You are basically in Gran via and in the city center of Madrid. You are 15 minutes from atocha train station or chamarit. The bed and bedding were good.They kept the luggage for free. The staff was nice and everything was very clean, even the shared bathroom.

1 minutes from Callao(Metro). The staff was kind. I could enter room when I went to there to leave my baggage around noon.

Hostel rooms need a serious renovation, some walls are moldy and the paint is peeled off, also the window shutter was broken in our room, as the windows are not isolated at all, so it was cold at night. But we paid just 38 euros for the family room without bathroom, so can not expect more for the price in the city center if Madrid.

The Hostel is located in the heart of Madrid, just a few steps from Gran Via and Callao cinema. The staff was nice and helpfull. It is a good option if you look just fir a place to sleep for a cheap price.

Street noise. Apparently you can't avoid it in any room (they all face the street) and it is very prominent until late hours so if you are sound sensitive, bring good ear plugs!

Excellent location, very friendly staff. Room was a bit small but sufficient for 1 person, it corresponded to the pictures, it appears that it was recently redone. TV, Wi-Fi worked perfectly and there were no issues with the shared bathroom. There's also a kitchen with fridge and tea&coffee making facilities which was very useful. Very good value for money.

The bathroom was always smelly. The radiator was not working until we complained a few times and suddenly it worked, where it should habe before anyways, but the staff was kind regarding this. The kitchen was nice, but we expected a stove, not only a microwave.

The location was awesome, very cental, right around the corner is Malasaña. The bed and room were cozy, it was clean. The staff was kind, especially the cleaning staff were attentively asking if our room should be cleaned every day. Kitchen clean and big.

It is located on the main street so it is always super loud. The first night I couldn't sleep at all. The other nights I got used to the chaos :) Keep in mind there is no toilet in the room. The bathroom is too small but I knew that so I was prepared.

The bed was comfy. The room was clean and the stuff was helpful.

Noise from the street on Friday night while the bars are located outside, no sound isolation is available. And it was expensive enough to say (must have been a busy time in all hotels)

Excellent location, close to many tourist attractions, close to subway station. Very welcoming staff who speaks English and very kind communication. Comfortable bed. Private shower in the room. Luggage storage service.

1 - when they say room with bath, it's only a shower, you have to use the hostel collective sanitary (the shower is minuscule btw); 2 - if you are going to arrive in Madrid between 20hs and 8am do not stay here, you won't be able to check in this time window and will be on the street. 3 - buy water and some snacks, they still didn't realise they could have a small store at the hostel and ramp their revenue a bit 4- don't pay their weekend price, it's too overpriced for the little they offer.

Location is good, safe and clean place, hostel employees are really sympathetic.

The room was very small and the beds are not rigide enough. The bathroom is super small and the bathroom door cannot be closed completely. The area around is a bit noisy at night.

The location is perfect for tourist, right in the center of the city and well connected by public transports, inclusing metro to airport. The area is very safe with a police station just nearby. The staff was friendly.

I wasn’t expecting a 5-star hotel but have stayed at better for less. The room could use a new coat of paint and renovation, as well as an air conditioner, especially considering the current heat wave in Madrid. It was ok for an overnight stay but I would definitely not stay any longer.

Great location. Great value. It was a hostel, not a 5 star hotel. But it was quite clean and comfortable.
