Good luck having sleep! There are much better value for the money options in Malaga!

The hotel is at the hill where buses pass by. Also the traffic in the night causes such noise that is imposible to sleep. Every motorbike and car steps on the gas pedal in order to accelarate for the heavy incline causing huge nosie. Air condioner does not work. It makes terrible noise - the fan is broken. There is a flood in the bathroom after each bath. The insulation is broken. Bed for 2 in 120cm size?!?!?! This is just crazy. Shame on you. Every room door makes terrible noise when closing. So be ready to wake up in the night as every visitor comes back from partying. Or you can have fun listening to other people having sex while you cannot sleep. One of the staff member is very rude. Breakfast is every day the same and just not wort the money! Slice of bread, butter and jam? Whar are we, birds? There are much much better and cheaper hotels in Malaga. 75 euros for 2 people for all above mentioned! No, never again!

    Room is cleaned every day.

The breakfast was subpar. For €4 per day, we expected a bit more than just some toast. Please be aware breakfast stops at 10, as sometimes they don’t mention this. Please improve the teabags too, as they didn’t taste anything like tea and were significantly weak. Finally, please make sure you have enough breakfast options for everyone. You have to be down at 7am for a croissant if you want one.

The hotel was good value for money and met expectations. I think it should be rated higher as we had everything we needed and more. It was close to the beach and situated in a pleasant local village. There are some nice restaurants nearby but also a €5 taxi to the city centre is also a good option!

Staff didn't speak English well and when I wanted to ask something nobody was around. Rang the bell, but nobody came from the reception. Also from my room WiFi connection was very bad.

I wanted a place near the sea, far from the city and yet an easy transportation. This hotel met all of these. The area was ful of flowers, jacarandas, it was quiet and near to the bars and restaurants in the seaside. The price would worth if I stayed as 2 people. I stayed in a double room. And it was very comfortable.

    Todo perfecto! All perfect!

I asked for a quiet room and was given an extremely quiet one. It was very spacious with a lovely modern twist - I loved the décor! The shower room was also up to the minute in design. All spotlessly clean. It is a small hotel in an excellent - a little off the beaten track location. However, the nos. 3 and 11 buses run every few minutes into Malaga (3 minutes walk away). The fabulous Pedregalejo beach with all it's lively bars and restaurants is a few minutes walk. You can also walk into El Palo, a small typical Spanish town which has plenty of shops and a Mercadona supermarket. I would love to visit again! Muchas gracias por dos dias/noches estupendos!!

Great value for the area and friendly staff

There is no elevator, so if you can't lift your suitcases up a couple of flights of stairs be sure to request a ground-floor room. There are no concierge/check-in staff on site between 11pm and 8am, so check-in and check-out need to be done during these hours. The staff were very helpful and found creative solutions to this to make whatever situation work well.

The hotel is situated in a lovely and safe neighbourhood a couple of blocks away from the Pedregalejo beach. The rooms are generous in size and the atmosphere is tranquil. The staff were very accommodating and personable. Compared to almost all other hotels in El Palo or in Malaga itself, the prices of this hotel were excellent for value.

It was misrepresented in terms of location and standard. It was not easy to locate nor get to. There were very basic facilities available. Considering it was a Suburban location off the main route I thought the price and star rating was a bit high.

The room was quiet, clean and the staff were lovely. There was a remote check in service which was straightforward. The surrounding area which was a suburb had beaches, cafes and decent restaurants.

Room doors make noises when you use them and its heard from the other rooms. The rooms doesn't have heating system you have to use the AC.

It was very clean, free wifi which worked well, proximity to public transportation and few shops and places where you can eat. Good value for the money. If you usually eat a big breakfast you should not choose the breakfast from here: it is quiet simple: one coffee, some bread for toast with butter or jam, cereals and a glass of fresh orange juice.

Breakfast. Dont bother as much nicer elsewhere.

    We wanted to stay in a residential Spanish area which this met. Very easy to stroll to bus stop for buses into the centre. But also easy to walk to the beach and extensive promenade with cafes, bars and restaurants and beaches. Very clean all round. The walk along the prom into the centre of Malaga is fabulous. Beach bars all along the way, with gorgeous sea views and sunsets to die for. Dont bother with the breakfast at the hotel. Loads of cafes to give you better food and better experience;

Despite all the signs asking for quietness, other guests were a bit loud. We were lucky by parking the car because of low season -May, but I can imagine that during high season parking can be complicated.

The breakfast was very ordinary and was served between 8:30 - 11:00. So if someone wants to leave early before 8:30, it's better not to take the breakfast included. But I would admit that the breakfast was good according to the price. N.B. The reception desk is open from 8:00 till 23:00.

I liked almost everything. Though the location is 4km from the center, but it is very convenient to reach by bus 3,11 and even 33, 34 - only 15 mins to reach paseo parque / centro alameda. The beach is very close from the hotel, just 5 mins of walk. Lots of restaurants near the beach which I found open even at 00:30. Gazpachuelo from the restaurant el balneario is recommended. The hotel is very comfortable and I won't mind giving it a 3star hotel. The pictures provided show the real conditions of the rooms.

No hot drinks after 10 am. Would have been good to have a machine or kettle to make own hot drink.

    Good location. Clean and pleasant.

Lovely hotel in a nice suburb. Most of Staff very helpful especially Maria but Pity about the blonde lady, she seems to dislike customers. Noise is very transferable from other rooms and bad smell from bathroom. drain. Fairly common issues in Spain though. Hotel is not staffed at night just an emergency number. Could be really fab if they sorted those few issues.

Small things lacking that make a difference: only one bath towel in a room for two people, three floors up from reception, smell of drains in the bathroom, very stingy with packets of gel and shampoo (1 per person, with a drop in each), indifferent personnel at the desk.

Have been here several times over the last three years. Good location, close to boardwalk, Quiet. Used to be good value for the price, but less so now.

This Design hotel is an excellent place to stay, for holiday ( 5 min walk to the beach ) , for short stays , business travel etc. The staff is extraordinary friendly and very helpful. This hotel should defenetly be rated as a 3*** star hotel minimum !!! As B&B ( Garni) it would refill nearly Austrian 4 ****star standards The pricees are more than inexpensive
