They provided baths when we asked for showers due to the people ataying were eldeey couples. The price of the food is quiet high compared to other places.

Everything is immaculate! High cleanliness standards, amazing design and quality of mater used, friendly staff.

The hotel is perfectly located on the one of the best beaches in Costa Brava. Safe and well kept peaceful and beautiful place, surrounded by amazing nature, walking paths, just a short walk from L’Escala with all its charming restaurants and bars. I love this hotel, it’s our second getaway here and it’s a great experience! It’s also dog-friendly so we could take our chihuahua with us.

We got stuck in the lift just after we checked in! Still waiting for our free drink in recompense! Also there is a lot of glass; windows and doors. You have to be alert so that you don’t walk into a door thinking it’s open. But they do let in a lot of light which is good.

Families with children in the dinning room should be informed and ask to be polite ( not noisy!!!) to not break calm and silence, which is the great treasure of this wonderful place.

It would be great to have slippers and robe in the rooms for guests to be able to walk to the spa. Also netflix, and entertainment in the room.

Small room for the price (during low season) but you pay for location and style of hotel. Wifi didn't work in the room.

I dislike that you have to pay for any extra, even for the bycicles and for the Spa. In an Hotel of this level should be included in the Price.

The rooms are a bit on the small side, but quite well designed. The restaurant is excellent, but the menu is a bit too small if you stay longer. It becomes a bit repetitive. There are also very, very few vegetarian options. It would be also good if snacks e.g. sandwiches were available when the restaurant is closed (between 5 and 8 pm) as there is no other option to eat nearby.

This is a wonderful, tastefully designed house with great common rooms, restaurant, a library and a huge terrace right at the beach. The location next to the ruins of EMPURIES is exceptional and offers great walls to the nearby town of St.Marti d’Empuries and L’Escala. The beach is perfect for swimming and for families with children. The hotel also has an outdoors café, that offers food based on old Roman recipes and drinks.

It's a shame that hotel guests have to pay for access to the spa and gym.

Excellent coastal location close to both L'Escala and Sant Marti. Lovely hotel and helpful staff. Delicious and well presented food dishes and a good selection of drinks. Nice bedrooms.

Bathrooms are weird with a window from the bedroom to bathroom. They did have a curtain. It took us to our third shower to find the light and extractor — in the bedroom I’m nitpicking though as it’s a lovely big room with a private sitting area outside
