1. calm and nice location. (Except if you situated in one of the rooms to the street you will hear traffic) 2. Super clean and cute designed rooms. 3. Staff is very kind and helpful.

The room was a bit disappointing (small window with no view but the interior of building), little daylight. However, we spent both days outside of our room so it was not a problem for us.

The space where breakfast is served is very nice and sunny and breakfast was amazing.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. It is situated in a beautiful charming building tastefully decorated in keeping with the period it was built. It is in a great location. The room was perfect, large with a very comfortable bed also a shower and sink. There is a lovely communal dining room with a coffee machine. Breakfast was perfect with a wide range of items. I shared a bathroom with 1 other guest. The bathroom was large and very clean and well stocked with everything needed. Everything was scruptiously clean.

Room is great, the little terrace makes it a perfect place, really cozy. location amazing and really close to many of main tourist attractions. Breakfast is good, spanish tortilla, jamon serrano, pan con tomate, nothing fancy, but pretty good.

If I had to say I didn’t like something it would be the pillow options.- I am particular and it is not easy to accommodate everyone’s taste in pillow but I got a decent sleep every night

Location, perfect accommodations- comfortable, having a balcony to look out and sit , private bathroom and ac! Loved the traditional Spanish building and the elevator which we used when we had heavy luggage although you can take the stairs also. After a hot day of site seeing, beach venturing out it was so nice to come back to the room. Every morning a continental breakfast that was more than sufficient. Do not be fooled when you see Hostal- they have private accommodations that are very nice and not your standard hostel group settling when you traveled as a teen. I highly recommend and would stay here again

The location is very central but also quiet which is great. It’s got easy access to all parts of the city. The staff is very friendly and supportive. The breakfast is sufficient and nice. There’s air conditioning too.

Unfortunately the water took a long time to warm up & it seemed awful to waste water with the dry, hot conditions but once heated the shower temperature & pressure was great. Perhaps the age of the building is a reason for the long time for water to heat up.

We were delighted with our stay at Hostel Girona. It was special to be in this beautiful old building, kept as original as possible. Even the elevator was a joyful experience! The hotel staff were welcoming & some things added to the sense of hospitality. We have been travelling for over 5 weeks & there have been few that have had tea, coffee & hot chocolate available any time. HG even had delicious lemon cake available left over from their breakfast spread. The room was lovely & the little balcony a nice surprise. Bed was very comfortable great. There is nothing we didn't like. A wonderful stay & memory of this special hostal.

The rooms was clean as this was a hostal and not a hotel the facilities exceeded my expectations and I would definitely make use of this hostal again if I visit Barcelona again in the near future. Rooms were clean amd also had AC in the room which is really important since the summer heat is something else. It’s very central and most of the big attractions is close by from the hostal including the Sagrada Familia, Casa Battló, etc.

Incredible location and the free breakfast was one of our all time favorite meals—it was that good! They also provided free unlimited coffee and milk as well as water. Wonderfully friendly staff. Amazing value. Can’t wait to return.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. Hostal Girona is located on a quiet street in a centralized location. It’s located on the upper floors of a gorgeous historical building from 1888. From the moment you walk in, the expansive, marble staircase, the original building elevator and the intricate design features are enough to impress even the most amateur of architectural geeks. Hostal Girona impressively blends the original 19th century design with luxurious modern upgrades. My room was beautiful, peaceful and inviting. The Juliet balcony was adorable and a nice place to relax on a warm evening. As for the amenities, the bed was comfortable, the linens and towels were clean, the communal space was well tended to, and most importantly, the AC worked even during the worst of the Spanish heatwave :) I feel so lucky I found Hostal Girona! I highly recommend!
