Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The second day I had to use the room for about 30 minutes. The cleaner never returned.
Location is great. Price was fair for room. My room was cleaned the first day I was there.

Pillow was a bit soft and lumpy. I stayed 4 nights and the first 3 were excellent, I slept perfectly and heard no noise. The last night 27th June was a nightmare. It appeared to be a large family group staying and the noise was horrendous. Banging on doors shouting, children running up and down screaming until 3.30 am. The person on night reception did nothing and I dont really blame him this was the first in all the visits to Fuengirola that I felt not scared exactly but certainly uncomfortable and sleep was out of the question.
Great location near to beach and shops, restuarants and station. Room and bathroom small but had all that was needed and was cleaned daily. Comfortable lounge with books so was able to relax there. The price was very good in comparison to several other places I have stayed in Fuengirola.

Of the minuses, I would name the strange layout of the rooms, in which the windows of many rooms look onto the stairs and inner corridor, so they are practically not ventilated, which was a problem for me personally, since some guests smoke in their rooms and the smell of tobacco gets into the corridor. Also, many residents are very noisy when returning from the bar at night. Overall, I was left with a good impression and I would return to this hotel in the future.
First of all, I asked to be put in a non-smoking room, but they put me in a small room, permeated with the smell of smoke. Luckily, another guy at the reception responded to my complaint, quickly resolved this misunderstanding, and moved me to another room, for which I was very grateful to him. The location of the hotel is great, the room was very clean, cleaning every day. There is also a huge common terrace on the roof and a bar on the ground floor, a spacious lobby, many plants and a lot of light. Also the night receptionist was very kind.

The hostel would benefit from a refresh,it looks a bit dated.
Helpful friendly staff. The room was clean and airy. The hostel is in a great location just off plaza de Constitucion with many great restaurants.

Being in the middle of “fish alley” it can get a bit noisy late at night, this isn’t a criticism of the hotel it’s self, just letting you know of its location
Great location, 5 minute walk from the train station and 100m from the beach front. It’s a budget hotel so it’s not The Ritz but it’s clean, well run, the beds are comfortable, the water is hot and the air con is cold, it’s everything I needed.

One extremely loud guest next to my room,always coming home at 01.30 am and screaming until 03.00 am,smashing doors,6 nights in a row,making sleeping impossible...
Quiet location,very friendly and polite staff,good daily cleaning,nice hot shower,sunny roof terrace,fridge and microwave at groundfloor and water and spanish breakfast available.
