Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CroatiaMattress is a bit to hard, and pilows were to thiny. Breakfast is 4 €, what include one bread, 2 slices of ham, one slice cheese, coffe and juice. For extra 2 € you get one more time the same. ;)
Location was very good, almost 15 min from all big atractions. The room was properly clean and the next day we've got new towels.

United KingdomI hadn't appreciated that there wouldn't be a kettle or hair dryer in the room, but it's a hostel, not a hotel, and you get what you pay for.
The staff were welcoming and friendly. Most spoke English, but I'm glad I speak Spanish. The rooms were very clean, but the single bed was quite hard. The hostel is ideally located for walking to the cathedral or the Alcazar.

United KingdomUnbelievably thin walls between rooms, so you can hear everything people are doing and saying in the rooms next to you and above you. Fortunately I'd taken noise cancelling headphones, but if I hadn't then the noises would have driven me insane.
Clean room, friendly staff. Great location for walking to my conference nearby, and getting to the river, and walking to the bus station to catch the airport bus.

IndonesiaFor those lights sleepers, might be disturbed by some noises from other guest who might came back late and walking to the next door rooms, otherwise everything is great, highly recommended for good value stay in Madrid!
We selected hostal Jentoft as we planned to arrive to Seville by bus from Granada, which will arrive at the Plaza Las Armas bus station (another bus station is in Prado). Also we plan to take bus for our dat trip from Seville to Cordoba. Check in was straightforward, we were given key to the property directly across the street from reception office, guess because our room is a 3-4 person room (twin bed and sofa bed), clean, have TV with local channels aircon, pretty basic but exactly just as what we needed, as we would be anyway out exploring the city most of the time and only back for rest and sleep. Good value at roughly Euro 100 for 2 nights stay. Reception was also kind to provide map and recommend interesting places to visit.

RomaniaWe didn't like the breakfast staff. The lady gives you a slice of salami and if you want more, she doesn't serve you dearly. Only uncooked food is served for breakfast, which includes a slice of salami, a slice of pressed ham, a slice of cheese. If you want yogurt, a donut or an apple, you have to ask and you might get it. You can also serve pate, margarine, jam, coffee, tea, milk, juice.
We liked the location, because it is close to the bus station and train station. We also walked to Espana square, 30 minutes. From Malaga airport we came by bus, 3 hours. The room I booked on booking was nice, but I stayed one more night and that room I paid more for at the hostel and it was much uglier and the air conditioner didn't work, it was cold in the room. We recommend booking through booking.

ArgentinaThe room was very small, there wasn't room for two suitcases. There was noise from the apartment above us. You weren't allowed food in the room and there was no access to a refrigerator or kettle. The shower only had a hand held shower.
Liked the location, very clean, silence in the hallways was good.

Location was good for Plaza das Armas Bus Station. All the major tourist sites were within walking distance for anyone with reasonable fitness. Bus stop close by with Direct bus to Sta Justa Train Station. Supermarket over the road. WiFi worked all the time. Efficiently run. Towels changed on demand.

ItalyJust one point: we have made a reservation for 4 people, once in the room we've found a double bed arranged, fit to sleep in, while we had to make ourselves the double sofa... it would have been nice to find that one made as well as the bed.
Great location, a short walk from city center. Quite a spacious room, clean and quiet. Kind personnel.
