Nice double room in a hostel with a shared bathroom, all clean. The staff are exceptionally friendly. Facilities are basic, but the price is very affordable.

Nothing really. It's basic but it does not cost much. People with reduced mobility will struggle going up the narrow stairs.

The location was central and close to the beach. Check in was easy. You just have to go to the bar downstairs. I slept well as it was quiet.

Ideal beachside location, basic yet functional and clean hotel, rooms can feel warm during summer (no AC), just be mindful of the steep stairs. Friendly staff and great breakfast with coffee, toast and croissants.

The location was great and I would recommend everyone to visit Portbou. The room was clean and perfect for 2 people

The shared bathroom could have maybe been a little nicer as it was a bit grubby but not unpleasantly so. Would have appreciated a lift in the building as accessibility was a bit of an issue. Wifi was a little patchy.

Booked this room at the very last minute due to a missed train while interrailing and so so glad I did. Was pleasantly surprised with the private room, which was very very comfortable and well equipped, with a beautiful balcony. Staff were very helpful and kind. Port-bou in itself is an incredibly special place and will definitely come back.

That it was in the town close to de promenade by sea and the monument. Nice with a restaurant close by, the friendly atmosfare. Simple but clean and all you need.

Walls were a bit thin so it was rather noisy at times though not unbearable.

Clean and I had a very spacious room with my own washbasin and very comfortable double bed and a kettle , yay ! And even a little balcony.

The room lacked any table usable for working on a computer.

Plainly and simply, the best price for a hotel around. If I looked for a luxury, I went to a different place. But for pilgrims, hikers, nomads and generally people who look for a place where to stay for a night or two in a private room, it's perfect. Of course, you get for what you've paid, but in this case, it's perfectly sufficient. And it has a nice atmosphere of a small old local hotel, together with a bar where you'll got a breakfast (a served one, not a buffet). + Although a bathroom is shared, the room has its washbasin. + The room contains a kettle and a complimentary coffee

The bed could be more comfortable.

The location was great. The sink was insides the room, a little easy considering it was sharing bathroom. The room had a water kettle. I love the vibes restaurant downstairs -same owner, very local place and cheap (The croissant in the morning are the best).

The night was very windy and in one of the rooms the window made a lot of noise. There is no recepcion so it was impossible to inform anybody about it.

The location is perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. It is equipped with a kettle which is great as you can prepare tea or coffee in the room. There is a restaurant downstairs which offers good food. The bathroom was close to the room.
