I do agree with other comments about the noise, I stayed in room 11 which was right in front of all the ambulances, It tended to be really noisy from like 9-10PM till midnight/one am, but pretty much quiet at other times. Unfortunately as I was literally about to leave there was a cockroach between me and the door, which I told the receptionist about.

I loved the Hostal staff, they were all very lovely. I also loved the location as it was quite easy to get to places and plenty of food options nearby. I stayed in room 11 which was lovely, had a mini fridge and a private bathroom (I’m 5” and can confirm I fit okay in the shower and had some space to move around). Although the air conditioning wasn’t working, the ceiling fan kept the room cool.

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip and appreciated the excellent connectivity — just a short walk to the metro, which made commuting very easy. Upon arrival, I was informed the air conditioning in my room was not working (communicated only the night before), and I was offered a smaller room with an external toilet as an alternative. While not ideal, the staff on site handled the situation proactively and professionally, and the owner kindly offered a discount, which I greatly appreciated. The hotel also provides useful shared amenities like a fridge, microwave, and free tea and coffee — very convenient for a business traveler. Overall, the experience was positive thanks to the attentiveness and kindness of the team.

We stayed for just one night and checked in late. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and had everything we needed. After check-out, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel for the entire day until our flight, which was very convenient.

Extremely loud - sounds of all other rooms and running water, toilet sounds from upper floors are as they are just next to you.. ear plugs even were not really helping
