There was no pressure regulator in the shower. Every time someone used water in the building we got either scolding water or freezing water. The food was very salty and fish overcooked.

On arrival there was an unpleasant smell from the drains in our room. After we had used the washbasin and shower for about 36 hours the snell diminished.

Parking was plentiful , the price was reasonable especially as breakfast was included. The rooms were very clean. the staff were very friendly. An enjoyable lunch was available for 12 rotos including wine and sitting on the terrace at night enjoying a drink with local people was a nice experience.

The location is about 15 minutes out of Girona.

Evening meal had sadly sold out of 3 of the 6 main courses, which just proved how popular the restaurant was with locals. Some people may struggle getting cases to upper floors as there was no lift

The price AFTER its reduction made this hotel a real treat. We were meeting friends at the nearby Torres Chocolate factory early the next morning for a tour, so it was ideal. The staff we met were very pleasant and helpful, despite us having very little Spanish. Plenty of parking.

It is right next to a main road - I had not appreciated how busy and high speed that road was, was hoping to be able to walk to Banyoles but that would not have been safe.

Very easy to access from the road and easy to get into Banyoles from there. Liked the room - comfy and clean, shower was GREAT and bed very comfy! I left very early (before formal breakfast hours) but still go a coffee and a croissant from the bar - unexpected and very nice!

Air conditioning was somewhat noisy and difficult to control until we worked out how to stop the intermittent buzzing!

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well equipped with complimentary soap and shower gel. Clean towels were provided. The restaurant, for a late Sunday night meal was perfectly adequate after a long journey, although breakfast was very basic.

The bathroom in the room was separated just by a glass panel and the smell of drainage lingered in the room. We fixed it by opening the window but still it wasn't well thought throughout. The wall were very thin and we could hear a baby crying, our neighbors laughing at night. It's okay for one night stay, but not very enjoyable one.

The hostel is located very close to the highway and just on the way to Banyoles. It has very spacious parking lot at the back. There is a restaurant located on the ground floor serving good food at affordable price. The typical Spanish breakfast served in the morning was great.

No soundproofing at all. You can hear everything that is going on in the hallway and the snoring in the neighbouring room.
