Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom was smaller than I expected. The balcony double room loses its corner for the balcony so it was a shuffle round the bed to the wardrobe. Okay for a few nights in a couple but bear in mind if you need more room or for a longer stay. Noise carried from room to room, we could hear their toilet flushing and some noise from outside was heard but small price to pay to be in the central location.
The location is the star of the show. The bar and restaurant was really handy for breakfast and a late night meal. Luggage storage was useful on day of departure and the 24hr desk was great for our late check in. Bed was comfy and a lot of noise from outside was blocked. Noise was chatting from the bars no music.

United KingdomShared toilet and shared shower room, both of which were not close to my room, often busy when I needed to use.
In the heart of the Old Town, in a beautiful square. As a solo traveller I was able to eat and drink where I stayed. Lively cafe bar and good vibe.

IrelandMattress was hard, room had No window only an extra doorway that opened out onto a sealed grill airconditioning vent shaft. This room might be fine for 1/2 night short stay. But not 7 nights as I had experienced. April still. Has plenty of mosquitoes and cockroaches about and I came across more than a few at this Hostel. Yes its location is really good. But I found it very expensive for the single tiny room I had room 401. I absolutely don't recommend for anymore than a very short one or two nights stay in the single room maximum. The rest of the double rooms looked great with their windows opening out onto the street view. But room 401 is at the back and is not good at all. Shared toilet/bathroom facilities also becomes very wearing after a day or so. Especially when you need to shower. The Hostel Parque cafe / restaurant was more expensive for Drinks and food than anywhere as a similar establishment, that I came across on the whole island. I was charged 4e for an non alcholic small local beer. It was between 3.20e and 3.60e every where else I went into for the same drink or similar. I believe that the description when advertising this room 401 and similar single rooms with no window should be highlighted better. And clearly stated as to what the guest gets. Do I believe it was value for money.. The answer is No i do not.
Absolutely loved the location, staff were lovely, place was lively very busy and full of people coming and going.

NetherlandsI missed the option to make tea or coffee in the room. The staff in the restaurant could be improved, but they are separate from the hostal.
Great location in the city! Great shower. Nice view from the room. The food served in the restaurant is good.

PolandUnfortunately not everything was as expected. The room was very small, there were literally NO electric sockets, except for the one high on the wall the standing lamp was plugged into. People use many electronics these days, I could not believe that charging a phone in a hotel room would become a problem! The WiFi in the room was terrible or actually- non existing. I simply could not work from my room, which was a huge problem- something I was not aware of upon booking it, hence the lower rating. I spoke to the staff about it. Wifi seemed to be fine in the restaurant/lounge area only.
Fantastic location, amazing staff that were very helpful and friendly. The shared bathroom was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Very comfy bed. Overall a good spot.

United KingdomNothing.
Fantastic location for everything, couldn’t be better. The bed in our room (204) was massive and extremely comfortable. The soundproofing was superb as we didn’t hear any noise from outside even though some restaurants and bars opened until 4ish. Can’t wait to return.

AustraliaStaff are always so friendly! I checked in and had questions on beach recommendations and where to buy sunscreen. Reception gave me a local beach 10 mins from the place (highly recommend, make sure you ask for the beach where you have to walk through a tunnel, up the dirt track, climb down with the help of a rope) + gave me a bottle of sunscreen that I could use that was in lost and found. Love love love the location of this place, found a great traditional place that did Bocadillo (Spanish baguette with fillings) and a Mexican place that tacos from €1!

GermanyI found the room was overpriced for the type of room (interior room, dark, small, shared barhroom), and prices are even higher during high season. One day, I found a cockroach exploring my clothes in the wardrobe... I didn't have breakfast included in the price and tried the restaurant twice because of excellent online ratings. I ordered toasted bread with grated tomato and grated tomato plus tuna and experienced for both types of toast that the toppings were just taken out of the can and put straight onto the bread - without any further seasoning... Therefore I decided to have no further breakfast there. As I didn't order other food there, I can't judge on the tapas and dinner. One of the waitresses serving breakfast didn't radiate the ibicean good vibes. If I were to return to Ibiza, I would consider returning to Hostal Parque if it was possible to get one of the rooms with windows at a good price.
Centrally located in a nice district with numerous restaurants and shops around. The shared bathrooms were cleaned well with sufficient number of bath mats supplied for the guests who were sharing facilities. Cool interior design
