Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Bosnia and HerzegovinaWe didn't have a hairdryer in our room and TV didn't work. The room is so noisy, we couldn't sleep because we have been hearing all kinds of noises from outside as well as from the room next door.
Location is great. We reached this destination by foot from the Main train station. The big Cathedral is just a few streets away. The bed was cosy and comfortable. Internet was good too.

Hong KongStaff did not speak English, only simple single words but was welcoming. We were allowed to check in earlier. The room was clean and seemed to be newly furnished. The bathing tub seemed to be newly installed too. They had daily cleaning service and provided clean towels everyday. Location is good, close to city centre (650M) and train station (900M) but far from Bus station (about 40-45mins walk) You can find a supermarket on Gran Via street.

ItalyThe only thing i had troubles with was the bath tub. It has some sort of sitting aid which is quite an obstacle if you take just a quick shower.
The room was HUGE and with all the comforts. It's quite near the Cathedral and the city center, yet in a really quiet environment. Staff was nice and the bar just below the hotel serves good breakfasts in a friendly place.

New ZealandThe bathroom was very small and the bath a bit uncomfortable for a shower due to the shape of the bottom of the bath.
Lovely small but clean room with comfortable beds and pillows. Very central.

United KingdomThe room was very noisy even with the windows shut. It was a Friday night so probably noisier. I always carry earplugs which helped and it didn't bother my 23 year old daughter!
The host was very helpful when we called as we couldn't find the entrance. She came out to meet us and despite not speaking much English she was very welcoming. The room was very clean and we had two towels each and toiletries. There was also complimentary water. There were blinds to keep the room dark. The hostel is very central and just a short walk from the cathedral.

United KingdomThe room overlooked a street with a night club on - it wasn't the music from the club but the club goers sitting out on the street talking until about 6 am in the morning. Maybe OK if you get a room round the back. Hot water took a lot of running the tap to come.
Very clean room and only a 10 minute walk to the cathedral area.

United KingdomThe shower basin has a step in it. As it is very small, I felt it was dangerous and I stood on the step and the shower floor to ensure that I did not fall. The WiFi wasn't working as she said there had been a problem. What really upset us was the fact that we could not sleep at all due to the excessive noise right outside of our room. Apparently there is a night club there on Fridays and Saturdays. The noise from those going to it was tremendous. It was only when I went down into the road at 4.15am, that I found out it was a night club. We did not hear the music, just the cacophony of voices. It finally quietened down after 5am. I asked the host why, when she knew it was on, she didn't put us in a room at the back of the hotel, not the front. There was also disturbances as guests who had attended the night club came back to the hotel, without a thought for the other guests, making a lot of noise. Having had a lovely 6 days in Estepona, it certainly spoilt the last day of our holiday. All the rooms - 107, 108, 109, 110 and 111 would have been in the same position. Anyone booking this hotel beware! No offer was made to refunding part of the booking fee due to the bad experience but we did not ask for one.
The owner allowed us to arrive a little early which was much appreciated. She was very welcoming. The room was basic but adequate. We were only staying 1 night so felt we did not need to book a more expensive hotel. Location was good and easy to walk to what we wanted to see.
