in the morning we woken up with a noise that was coming from (I believe) from the pipes. And heard the people showering (next room). That said be aware that there is no noise insolation(at least not enough).

the location was great, the stuff was so sweet and welcoming (despite the language barrier), it was clean. you should ask for a room that looks to the street. We stayed there only on night. Great stay for 1-2nights.

-strange smell -room is a bit horrible -strange noise at night in inner window. it looks like a central air conditioner or something like that we lived in the probably worst hotel room (I saw other rooms and they looks better). I don't recommend a hotel for couples. if you decide to take it, ask for a room with a window on the road.

-location -very small but new shower room

The room was not cleaned or arranged in 4 days. Neither was the trash taken out or toilet paper changed. I had ants in the room. The reception does not speak english, so unless you're Spanish good luck using Google Translate.

Is fairly close to the city centre. For the same price you would get a better hotel but much further away (probably by metro). The WIFI is good. The beds are comfortable enough.

The bed was short (and I'm not tall) and the bathroom was tiny, with the wc very oddly placed - you could sit on it and shave at the same time :). The shower was handheld which was a bit awkward in that small bathtub.

This is a basic Hostel with ok rooms and bathrooms. The hotel was easy to find and despite being on the main street it was quiet. The reception staff was friendly and the room was medium size with small bathroom, clean but very sparse. The corridors were more like on a very narrow boat but for the price I paid it was ok.

    Nothing at all.

Absolutely everything. The receptionist are very friendly especially the man. The location is great, all the attractions are at a walking distance from the hotel. Also, the hotel is very well served by public transportation, supermarkets and restaurants. The rooms are extremely clean and they clean it, change the towels and put new toiletries daily. The bed is comfortable and the room is of the right size. There are water and coffee in the hotel for one euro. Everything was perfect, if i ever went back to Madrid, ill definitely stay at this hostal again.

The hostel is good value but it feels cheap, very low quality facilities and furniture, etc. Soundproofing in the room almost non existent, if someone decides to have a shower early in the morning, they will most likely wake you up.

The nearby area is very good, but the avenue in front has too much traffic.

We went to visit family and stayed with them, but we needed to book a room for one night for a cousin, and looked for a hotel nearby. Trevinca was alright.

It'd be cool to have cups or glasses in the room and a hair dryer in the bathroom.

The location is perfect: all main sights are in the walking distance. There're 3 metro stations nearby, lots of good cafes and a couple of food shops. Surprisingly, it's very quiet in the room: not a single noise from the street or other guests. The staff are friendly and really helpful. If you're staying in Madrid, this place is a value for money and worth staying at.

I only met one of the members of staff as my stay was very short, and while he wasn't rude, he was exceptionally moody. Probably the least welcoming hostal I have ever stayed in. If you want to stay somewhere simple and quiet this is a good place, if you want somewhere with any kind of personality or friendly atmosphere I would avoid this hostal.

Fine in general but nothing particularly special. The room was very clean although it had seen better days, some of the paint was peeling off and the furniture wasn't in the best condition. The best thing was probably how quiet it was.

Quite difficult to find - especially late at night - even while navigating with Google maps. Not well signposted, and ended up identifying the place by seeing 'Trevinca' labelled on one of the door bells.

Conveniently located close to several metro stations, a supermarket and a range of eateries. Simple accommodation, but suitable for my one night stay after a late night flight arrival into Madrid and early train to Seville the next morning. Close to Bilbao station for easy access to Atocha train station for high speed rail. Staff do not speak English, but there is enough communication to get by.

I felt bad for the guy in the night shift since he had to go down late at night open the door, I believe a key should be given to all the guests as I was offered on the last day when it was too late. The cleaning lady on the last day was a bit rude the way she asked me to leave the room at 12 while my late check out at 3 was approved in advanced but it was solved on the spot.

The location has a great access to the Alonso Martinez metro and at walking distance to the main attraction and night life in gran via and chueca. Staff was very welcoming and helpful specially that they had to go down open the building door at anytime after 8 in the night since they faced a problem with the lock. The best thing is that my budget room was upgraded on arrival to a bigger room a big thank you for that!

Really friendly staff, the place had everything we needed for a few days in madrid! good comfy beds, tv, air con, nice ensuite bathroom, always very clean after the room was done every day, definitely worth the money! And great location, near a small supermarket, near a metro station, 10-15 minute walk from the heart of the city and still things very nearby, close to cafe's bars restaurants as well which were all nice and good food for good prices. I have nothing bad to say about this place.

Everything. Most of all that it was very clean and very quiet. The staff was great.
