Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesEach room is really big so there are several other guests. Because of this, it seemed like there was some one up at all hours of the night. This could be tough for a light sleeper. The showers don’t have an adjoining area to put your clothes and dry off so you have to hang your towel and clothes over the shower stall, and then shower, dry off, and put clothes on all while inside the shower. Lastly, as others have mentioned, the fridge seems to always be packed to capacity.
Though slightly far from the city center, the metro is fairly close and was an easy commute into the city. I didn’t participate but it seemed like there were many socializing events throughout the week so that may be a nice way to meet other travelers.

United StatesI didn’t like the pillows. They were very flat and uncomfortable. The bed was decent, but could be softer. Some of the women, SNORE very loud to the point that it was waking people up out of their sleep, including me. That’s not something that’s the staff’s fault but it would be nice to actually have a survey done and if you are someone that snores you should be assigned a certain room. It’s only fair to those that need to get sleep and can’t because you snore very loud.
I really like how the hostel is designed. Each room level was designed to a specific color. They have a really nice roof that’s comfortable with chairs to lounge in they also have nice vanity area to do your make up and open area as well. The staff are very nice and communication was very clear. Also like that they have a daily agenda for things to do that sociable. Is a nice way to meet people the facility is very clean as well and is right across the street from the train station, which was very convenient. They provide locks in for a small fee slippers if you need it. I paid three euros for a towel but every day I was able to change it for free that seemed decent to me overall the cost I appreciate per night. I feel very safe. They have a security code to get access into the space and overall it felt good to just have women around me even though this was a new experience. Everyone seemed very respectful of your space and your things.

BulgariaThe beds are linked together so when someone is getting of or on the bed, all the beds shake and it can disturb one's sleep. The stairs to the second floor bunk bed did not have comfortable handles so it can get tricky to get down is your feet hurt from walking too much.
1. The location is really good - it is not in the city center but the metro station is right in front of the building and there are a lot of bus connections. You can easily go down to the city center and then get back for a relaxing night walking around without tourists to bother you. The neighbourhood is quiet and there are cheap supermarkets all around, cheap coffee shop with good coffee early on Sunday was the best I could ask for (usually nothing is open early on Sunday in Barcelona). Dia supermarket is on the next block and Carrefour Express is about three blocks away. Cheap and fresh vegetable and fruit shops all around, so you can stock you meals in the hostel fridge for a couple of days (make sure to label your food in the fridge cos they clean up everything without label on Mondays). The cleaning staff cleans the kitchen at lunch every day so make sure to have your meal before of after if you do not want to be in the middle of it. 2. Facilities are good, clean showers with strong and hot water at every hour of the day, two showers and two toilets on each floor, enough mirrors in the bathrooms, in the hall and even in the room. You can rent a tower for 3euro if you don't want to carry one with you. You don't need to bring a key cos every door has an access code, also the hostel entrance is with a code so no random people can enter inside. The common area is spacious and they offer free coffee and tea. Everyone is nice and the overall mood is very chill. 3. Beds are big enough and comfy, the temperature in the sleeping rooms is kept pretty low so you don't have to sweat from being with 20 other people in the room. Quiet hours are after 10PM until 7 AM but there's always someone checking in or out so make sure to get earplugs from the reception.

PolandHostel was very clean. Dormitories have 18/20 beds, but they’re very spacious and curtains give some privacy. The kitchen was well equipped, there’s also a gym and a terrace on the roof. The location is not central, but the hostel is just next to the metro station and the neighborhood is quiet. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at

United KingdomI loved the vibe of the place and how it was managed. I arrived around 10pm and the staff was waiting for me, I was swiftly checked in. Despite the heat the AC was working impeccably and the room was quiet and the bed had a locker, light and charging slot.

United KingdomHostelle is a little out of the city, so the commute into the centre takes around 30 minutes. Also, trains end at around 11:30-00:00 so if you want to go and experience the night life you may be stranded and taxies from the city centre are around €30. Or there’s a night bus but the commute is a little longer.
My stay was great, the staff were amazing and extremely accommodating and understanding. Hostelle was sheik and cosy and I felt really welcome and at home here. Overall the attention to detail for meeting solo female traveler needs was great. I had an amazing stay and would book again!

AustraliaThe beds could have been more comfortable. The kitchen was often quite messy and had a smell, but nothing of fault to the property owners, more so the people staying at the same time as us. The hostel is very far out of the city centre, but easy to manage public transport.
It felt very safe and secure, we also loved that the hostel has Netflix. There are areas with light up mirrors to get ready for nights out too! Lots of amenities and activities for travellers. I would happily stay here again!

GermanyYou have to pay for the towels. Come on.
Basically everything. First off all there are no men which is amazing. It’s surprising how safe you feel without them. Nice and good looking facilities. Clean bathrooms, a kitchen with everything you need, a pretty roof top and also a gym. They also host community events almost everyday. The hostel is in a nice and safe area. You have privacy in your bed because of the curtains.

HungaryI think that kitchen is very small for that amount of people, fridge is over crowded and its not possible to put your stuff inside. Also I would suggest to put in bathroom shampoos like many other hostel provide and mat to dry feet after shower.
Staff is nice and friendly, rooms are clean and bathrooms are cleaning every day. Good air conditioning in the bedrooms, but bed and pillow isnt that comfy. They organize events at hostel so you can connect to other guests.

CanadaThe luggage room was left unlocked a few times when I went with the key . The location was in the middle of nowhere where . 25 min train ride and no real place to eat . And no one spoke the language. Staff was minimally helpful . Fridge was so disgusting. And no room to put even a bottle of water .
The beds were very comfortable. And it was great to have a safe luggage room to put your stuff . Roof top terrace was nice

FinlandIt's little bit far away and the nearest metro station was closed due constructions. It will be fixed soon.
Clean rooms with stable beds, not shaky ones. Good air conditioning in the bedrooms. Various events are held almost every day to connect people. Rooftop terrace. Stable wifi, good for working. Metro and bus stops and nearby.

SpainA problem I had was with the kitchen, although it was well-equiped and a good size, there was so much stuff in the fridge and in the pantry boxes, I didn't feel like I could fit things if I bought anything. I barely fit the oatmilk box that I bought for my coffee, I managed to squeeze in the little space I found. Also towards the end of my stay, I saw that the kitchen was super dirty, people had left plates and cooking utensils unclean in and around the sink even though there is a clear sign in front of the sink saying to clean your things after using them. The rooms were sometimes a little too cold, which sometimes meant that you couldn't stay in there for long unless you were under your duvet.
Clean rooms and comfy beds, lots of nice spaces to hang out and relax, like the tv room downstairs and the rooftop terrace. During the day, many people were out so sometimes it was nice to just rest in those areas outside the room. Also was really intrigued by the various activities that were planned for the month, had I stayed longer I would have totally joined in. Bathrooms were also cleaned everyday so it was comfortable to use. The showers were nice and had enough room. It was lovely to meet different people, staff and other boarders were really friendly. I even made a new friend :) I will definitely book again when I travel to Barcelona.

my sister and i stayed here for one night, and i was very pleasantly surprised. i liked everything about Hostelle. the friendly staff (both girls at the check-in desk were so lively and nice), the cleanliness of the place, the atmosphere, the feeling of security, the fact that there were only women there made the whole experience even better, the interior, the amount of different activities that the hostel provides the travelers with, the price, really, everything. you're doing a great job, keep it up. i'm 1000% gonna recommend this place to everyone
