Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The place needs maintenance
We really enjoyed the breakfast, there were many options. Furthermore the location of the hotel is very convenient. The staff was helpful.

Staff was too rude and not guests friendly. We requested for two rooms adjacent to each other which they bluntly refused.

The hotel looks tired especially the elevators, lift landing and corridors. Entrance is not very impressive.
Not very impressive hotel, whoever, the rooms have decent size and good AC system and quiet. Great staff and good food. Location is ideal for shopping. Car parking is located right behind the facility, you pay an average of 38 Euro per night.

That check in is at 2:00 when most of the airplanes arrive from USA early morning and there was nothing available until 2:15 PM. Their che k out is not u til 12:00 and people take advantage of it. No ironing board, no ice in any floor of the hotel.
Cleanliess OK buffet breakfast, pretty good.

The fact that there was no kettle in the room is a bit disappointing. It's not a major issue but it would be nice to be able to make my own coffee before going to sleep.

There were no facilities in the room to make hot drinks. Also a fridge was not available to keep drinks cool.

The shower may be a little difficult for those of reduced mobility.
The location, central and close to everywhere. The ease of reaching the hotel. The staff who, without exception were welcoming and polite. The beds were good quality and very comfortable. The room adequately heated and clean. Breakfast was what you expect and again, the staff friendly and welcoming.

Room was just a little dated and not much character, but not a big deal for a quick weekend away
Location is excellent. 50m from Plaza De Espana Metro. Breakfast excellent, with a great choice of hot & cold food. We tried the bar a few times, but nver managed to actually be there when it was open! No big deal though, as plenty of food options within 5 mins walk or less. Room was large and very clean. All staff were very friendly.

The room was well equiped but it was missing a water heating kettel. The room was well cleaned and arranged each day but the towels were not changed.
The location of the hotel is great in the center of Madrid, in a vibrant main street and close to many tourist places. The room was clean and cosy. The breakfast and the service were good. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Great value to price hotel.

This hotel is right next door to another partner Melia hotel and they connect from the inside. My 2 teenage daughters went down for breakfast in the morning and they went into the breakfast room for the other hotel which is in the same level as our hotel. They were turned away because they were not "on the list" for breakfast. They came back to the room embarrassed not wanting to go back down. When we went down to check out I explained this to the staff and requested a refund for our breakfast. They were very apologetic and processed the refund. They confirmed we were on the list. They realized my daughters went to the other breakfast hall instead of the one for our hotel. The person that turned them away did not ask them which one of the 2 hotels they were guests at and did not point them to the right direction. We missed out on breakfast because of this. Other than that our stay was great.
I love the location, the friendly staff, the cleanliness and decor. Really great experience.

The room is really old and needs a facelift . The big bed was actually made of 2 beds . 2 old and uncomfortable beds. A small suggestion it will be to change the 20 years old TV. You can find in the market cheap and functional smart TV .
Location is the best. Easy checking. It was warm in the room. The bathroom looks good. The staff was really helpful and professional. The cleaning was also good
