Tired decor for the price in the rooms. Lack of water provided in rooms is also always a bit annoying. Booked for a couple so twin beds pushed together was also not ideal.

I would not pay extra for a balcony room again. The balcony is a tiny Juliet style balcony that you can’t sit on, and the view is mediocre. Also, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom so the whole room became foggy whenever one of us took a shower.

Excellent location for sightseeing. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and bath. It was on a relatively quiet street.

Such a beautiful place, everything is very nice and pit together well. It’s a great spot as you a very central. We did not need any public transportation and could walk around.

Unfortunately I had to change my reservation and had to pay almost 500 euros more for the new dates even if I could find online the same room with almost the same price for the new dates. Also there was more than normal noise from the other rooms.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location really central and the breakfast quite rich.

The cleanliness was a bit disappointing: thick dust on the upper part of the curtains, black mould on the wall next to the wardrobe, and the toilet was badly stained. I think I am being extra critical because it's a 4 star hotel.

Booked this hotel in case we would want a dip in rooftop plunge pool, but it (the pool) was a bit chilly. Shower tray was treacherously slippery when wet. I guess we should have asked for a rubber mat.

The staff were friendly, hotel very clean and smelled lovely. Plenty of towels and toiletries in the room. Breakfast was magnificent! Hotel is about 3 blocks away from La Rambla and Plaça de Catalunya, so very handy for shops/ restaurants/ sights.

Smallish elevator, breakfasts could be more varied.

Nice design, retro-meets-modern vibe, attention to details, comfy room with coffee machine, roomy bathroom, very friendly staff. Good breakfast served in an eye pleasing interior. Sun terrace on the roof and nice drinks served there.

When i asked reception for a bottle of water, i was told we have to use the mini bar. They only provided one tiny water for the whole stay. There is a 24hr supermarket across the road though. Also beware of the biscuits/sweets next to the coffee machine, we thought these were complimentary but got a bill when checking out. You can hear other guests in neighbouring room but this only disturbed us one night out of the 5 (screaming kids)

The location is very central and you can walk pretty much everywhere or get the metro which is a 2 min walk from the hotel. The place is very clean and has everything you need. We stayed for 5 nights, the room was thoroughly cleaned everyday and there are tea& coffee making facilities. There are plug sockets both side of the bed and plenty of towels, soap, toiletries provided. We had breakfast one morning which was nice, it was a continental buffet plus a couple of hot items. The rooftop terrace is lovely, i can imagine it’s even better in summer.

Nice and welcoming staff. We got there early but luckily our room was ready. Nice room with a balcony on a side street so not too much noise at night. Great location too, everything was within walking distance. Comfy beds, nice bathroom and working A/C! We’d definitely stay there again if we went back to Barcelona.

If I was really picky, the view from the room was poor but we requested a quiet room and that is what we got. Breakfast choices seemed limited but we opted for no breakfast beforehand. If you do your research you can get from the airport to the hotel via the metro - one change. The transfers are expensive overall although competitive!

The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable - offering guidance on various questions regarding the area. The hotel is in a central part of the city, very easy to access from a variety of metro stations and by bus/taxi, and great for Catalan Square and the Gothic Quarter. If you are able to walk you can do all of these easily. The rest can be accessed via metro. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a well-known supermarket in the next street! Plenty of nice little touches about facilities and provision in the room.

that you had to pay for coffee pods. Even in the cheapest motel you do not have to pay for the coffee you will make yourself in your room. If the nespresso is expensive to buy in bulk, just get a cheaper brand that fits the machine - a free cup of coffee in the morning sets the tone for the whole day. We also found the cost of the food/drink onsite to be very inflated for what you get. Would be nice to use the terrace as a place to eat a picnic or take away - a shame you can only really sit there if you buy something to eat or drink.

The shelf on wall in shower was loose so was very conscious that it would come off while we were pumping the bottle of gel so had to lift it off to use so I would suggest bottles fixed to wall instead.

Size of the room. bathrobes and slippers. Small balcony with plenty of light. A universal adapter is always great just incase you forget to bring one ! Excellent breakfast with a large variety to suit all people. Staff very friendly and welcoming

Terrace was always in shade and no view. Might be fine in hot weather. Shouldn’t have to pay for 2 initial coffee pods.

Excellent location. Smallish but comfortable room. Pleasant staff. Good to have coffee machine/ robes/slippers.
