Noisy neighbours on both nights. TVs blaring until very late. We had a minor dispute regarding the bill. Booking.com suggested there would be no charge for the dog. This was not the case. We accept that. However when paying on departure there was an error in communication and the owners were extremely disagreeable to the point of violent. The female pushed and tried to lock my wife and dog in a room to prevent us from leaving. She threatened to call the police which I was more than happy for her to do. As it happened a guest appeared who was a police officer and she calmed down. My wife was hysterical at the way she was treated. The situation was then diffused and we paid and left the hotel. NEVER TO RETURN. We stayed at this hotel in 2019. It was perfect, hence our return. It was under different ownership then. We have never been treated in such a manner in 50 years of travel. In my opinion the hosts at this hotel are not suited to customer service.

Breakfast was very disappointing. No vegetables offered. No eggs, no sausages only bread and one thinly sliced cheese and two types of salami. You could drink only one coffee. The second you had to pay. No one speaks any other language but Spanish.

The house is beautiful and in the middle of the nature park. It is surrounded with wonderful forest and at night the wild boars come to visit. But don’t need to be scared since they are domesticated and very curious but still afraid. There is also a little fox that comes to visit. The peace and quiet is amazing.

The staff were amazing. I took my dog with me and they welcomed her but when the wild boar turned up and tried to attack her as they feed them on site I had to quick march and run with my little dog before the mother got her.

The pool was being restored so was not in use but when it is this will be a great addition to this mountain hideaway.

The staff were very friendly and it was easy to communicate despite the language barrier as they were so nice. The location was spectacular, peaceful and being so close to nature made it feel like a special place. Wild boar came to visit and were not threatening but used to being at the hotel so it was a pleasure to see these animals up close and safely. We were impressed with the free breakfast. This hotel has a rustic charm and its isolation makes it easy to forget how near you are to a busy tourist town. Hearty rustic food in the restaurant too.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff super friendly. It’s location is 30 minutes away from the city, which if you don’t have a car it is not a good idea. But if you do, it is located in the mountains, very beautiful landscape, very peaceful and relaxed.

There was no free drinking water available on site and the description of the hotel doesn’t warn travellers to bring drinking water with themselves, instead they are charging 1€ for a small bottle of water. They also charged 8€ for the dog, this 8€ wasn’t stated on the booking site either.

The staff barely spoke English. No cell reception. Wi fi was available and free, but very slow. NO DRINKABLE WATER, BUY YOUR OWN BEFORE THE VISIT.

The location was incredible. The hotel was up in the mountains. We had to go up the hill 20km on the nice winding roads. YOU WILL NEED A CAR TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

We would have liked to see menu items at the restaurant that reflected the mountainous location.

This out-of-the-way hotel is somewhat of an adventure to arrive there, but the scenery was wonderful and the hotel was quaint. The room and beds were comfortable and the breakfast was sufficient. The staff was accommodating and friendly but only spoke Spanish.
