The noise outside the hotel from people using the bar and other facilities was loud and went on into the early hours of the morning. Which made sleeping difficult.

Staff were excellent and the cafe was great. We used room service, which was excellent.

This place has possibly the best restaurant in the area, with a massive woodfiredoven, suckling baby lamb was so memorable! And those desserts! The tapas in the cafe which was frequented by locals was also amazing. I was a bit hesitant at arrival as it was far from the city, but free and easy to access parking, fabulous food and friendly staff really made Burgos amazing

We went for a meal as the last time we stayed it was excellent, however on this occasion they had a wedding on the day. Restaurant opened at 2030 hrs , with the waitress clearly having a attitude problem. She near enough through the food done without any interreaction.Worse it came out cold ,& sources arrived half way through the meal.Half the sweets not available, and chef heard shouting at staff. Not a pleasant experience, should never had opened if there not able to cope

Hotel clean & tidy ,staff pleasant

Rooms over the cafeteria can be a little noisy, particularly in early morning as people gather outside talking

The rooms are spacious, great check in and check out times, good parking, easy drive into Burgos centre, staff very friendly happy to help, breakfast was very good including hot food, my wife has to have gluten free options at breakfast, these were catered for and she was presented with her own selection. Don't be put offf by the fact that this hotel looks to be on an industrial estate, it is a gem and good for onward travel, as access roads are excellent

    Nothing to report.

We recently spent a night at this excellent hotel whilst enrout from Bilbao to our home in southern Spain. The staff were most friendly and helpful. The room was large with all amenities and spotlessly clean. The Cafeteria had superb Tapas on order and again the staff were excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

When everything you hope for is there in front of you what more could you ask ? Our ferry was late into port by two hours so we didn't get to the hotel trill 2215 - No problem !! could we still eat ? _ no problem, nothing was a problem !!! All the staff were friendly, professional , on top of their jobs and a credit to their employers. We are in Burgos again later this year and will probably change our booking and go to La Galaria again !!

Extensive grounds its not, was on an industrial estate, parking was a little hard with a big van, it was noted that if we hard arrived much later the carpark empties. bath needs anti slip in the shower, beware very slippery when having shower.

The hotel and all staff were great, the food was fantastic in the restaurant (pricey thought) The rooms were big and light from carpark wasn't a problem, Breakfast was excellent, easy access from main road perfectly located for Santander if you need to break your journey.

We made the reservation with 2 beds and 1 crib and even with all that space to sleep they forced us to upgrade to a suite and paying more 30 Eur. Outside that the staff was really unpleasant, where the receptionists were the worst I saw during the last years. Other points: Awful wifi, and worst breakfast in years.

The guy in the cafeteria was completely misplaced - unfriendly towards several customers, kept the place untidy, lacked fresh food and ice cream and showed no care for customers. The main restaurant was well-rated and a big part of the reason why we chose this hotel. However, when we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed Sunday evening despite being advertised on booking.com as being open - big disappointment.

Food: Lunch was disappointing. Soap dispensers were of poor design as they fell apart during use.

Hotel: Situated close to the Motorway system. Room: Large, clean and comfortable. WiFi: Free and worked well from our room. Car park: Free public. Safe and refrigerator in the room.

We had no complaints about this hotel but there were only the hotel restaurant facilities in the immediate vicinity, so not much choice for our evening meal - tapas in the cafeteria bar or expensive a la carte menu in the hotel restaurant

Working air conditioning made for a comfortable night's sleep after a long drive. Breakfast buffet was excellent and catered to all appetites

    already explained above

good location for easy access to the motorway. Cafeteria was a letdown as the food on display was not very appealing !! No hot food before 20.30 which after driving all day was not what I what wanted to hear !! Room was clean and comfortable Breakfast next day was excellent and good value for money.

Nothing of note, really. We can only blame our own porr planning for not being able to try the restaurant.

Comfortable bed, very spacious room, with a quiet surrounding. The staff were very kind, very available, and having the reception open 24 hours was also very important because we unfortunatly arrived quite late. Also, the parking lot is big and the prices are very good for the overall quality of the hotel.

Good breakfast with fruits, scrambled eggs and bacon, sweets,...Nice room with comfortable bad and big bathroom. Enough parking spaces. Garden and some sports facilities around hotel but no restaurants or shops. Easy to reach from highway but 5 - 10 min drive to Cathedral.

Plastic - hotels should lead the way in not using plastic for furniture, garden lights etc. The garden also had lots of rubbish mostly plastic, two broken beer bottles. Coffee - the Salon Breakfast was good but the coffee was awfully old and stewed and not fresh. A quality hotel should serve good coffee with breakfast.

    Restaurant food was very good

    Nothing

This is a 4 star hotel at 2 star prices - absolutely fabulous in every respect except for out of town location, but for us that was a bonus. We have stayed here before and will definitely return if only for the signature dish of the restaurant - whole shoulder of a lamb cooked in a wood oven for 2 to 3 hours - fabulous!!

not much to improve really. Suited our requirements perfectly. We have previously used this hotel as a transit stop but it is a bit too far out of Burgos center to visit without using the car.

Scrambled eggs and bacon are delicious. Very good breakfast in general. Menu del dia good value. Easy access to motorway.

    Nothing, good stay

A real surprise as route to hotel takes you through an industrial area, Arrived at hotel to be greeted by friendly informative staff. Bed very confortable so a good nights sleep. Room excellent, spotlessly clean everything you need. Restaurant/ cafe a real bonus good food and value for money. Relaxed in bar later, good friendly atmosphere. A definate recommendation for either en route ferry or look around Burgos. Thank you

Given that the hotel catered for weddings and other groups the noise level of revellers did spoil what was an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Location was suitable for onward journey. The accommodation was 4 star and the restaurant offered high quality food and drink, although a little slow to take our order, but well worth the wait. Very clean accommodation, although the air conditioning was a little noisy.

The TV was way too small for a 4 star hotel room and the room itself was not very big at all either. Location next to business and factory sites not really very nice. Although food was available until 4pm it was not available then until 8.30pm in the restaurant after that. Tapas in the bar but not very thrilling.

    Bed was comfortable

This hotel was ideal fo us.

This is a great hotel for a stopover on the way to the ferry. The location is close to major roads and easy to find. The staff were helpful and the room excellent value. A great restaurant is on site and is well worth a visit as is the cafeteria.
