Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hallways could be a bit noisy at times, but nothing too disruptive.
After a long day of travel, I arrived at Hotel Guadalmedina in a clean and comfortable room. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was convenient. As a solo female traveler, I had a fantastic stay!

The beds were not comfortable. But we stayed for only one night.
Front Desk staff was excellent and service-minded. A nice young gentleman from Huelva helped us. We got a larger room. Bathroom was big. Location is very good with a nice and short walk to the city centre and the Cathedral. We arrived by train from Madrid and we chose a Bolt because our luggage was heavy, but the distance from the train station to this hotel is walkable. Breakfast is excellent with a full buffet and plenty of tables.

Excellent breakfast buffet It was only a 5-10 minute easy walk to the main tourist centre and a 10 minute walk to the main train station so the location was great.

Smell of sewage in the bathroom room 112. The soap and shower gel scent are disgusting. They had calculated the wrong bill for the minibar but fixed it when I questioned it.

Ladies be so careful with your bag. Wallet was stolen 😔 from my sister's bag, close to Malaga Cathedral. What a shock to the system. She was carrying a backpack, never felt a thing, thieves are so professional . Be careful. Hotel reception would need to be more alert to Police telephone numbers and contact times of Police Stations, as this experience is so frightening for the tourist/guest. Attention is required from the hotel at this point.
Location excellent. We walked the city in the beautiful sunshine, so close to old town, fabulous and of course the Marina, breath taking views, lots of restaurants. Beautiful.bedroom, made up everyday attention to detail thank you so much. The breakfast was fantastic, suits all. Great variety of hot and cold, loads of fruit, healthy option.. The staff were fantastic and so helpful particularly the lady we met for our four mornings, so friendly and so helpful. The shopping area is also is the surrounding area. Larious S Centre is 10 mins from hotel, Primark, Zara and Dunnes Stores amongst many others. Take the train to the hotel from Airport 12 mins, 4th and last stop Centro Almeda, €2.20 each way. The hotel is 5 mins from here. If you fancy some Gourmet lunch or a shopping splurge why not visit El Cortes Englese, in the vicinity . Lorrenzos for Gelato., delicious.

First time ever we experienced that there were not a single complimentary water bottle provided. The flush stopped working out of nowhere. Although it was resolved quickly. The water pressure went low for Shower on our last day & even the hot water wasn't hot anymore. The access cards stopped working. Again, the front desk lady did resolve it soon
The rooms are very spacious exactly as shown on the app. The location is too good. Easily accessible to a lot of restaurants & supermarkets. Walking distance to Metro. Maybe 20 steps away. Bus Station is literally 5-7 mins walk.
