Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast was mediocre, almost no healthy options. The street was very loud, people were parting till 3am. The second day I got not the full towels pack.

We were there in two different occasions and the TV channels are not the same from one room to another , but no big deal we have spent most of the time visiting attraction around town all nearby the hotel. Very satisfied with the price,
The location is Great, Breakfast is Great, Staff is Great , very helpful all around. They got us a taxi quickly to go to the Airport .It is close to many of the great places we wanted to visit in MADRID and to The Atocha train Station. Very pleased.

The room and the toilet is too small with no sink.
Location is very close to Sagrada Familia and the Madrid Atocha train station. Lots of groceries and restaurants around the area.

I had a room adjacent to the front of the hotel . the area was really noisy in the early hours of the morning until 04.00am not much sleep. The windows require triple glazing

The shower and sink are literally part of the room, not in a separate bathroom, so take this into consideration because if you are more than one person, there will be zero privacy.

The square in front of the hotel is a bit dodgy, there are homeless people sleeping at the threatre across the street and it's noisy at night

The bathroom's handwash was very tiny and with not enough space to put our toiletries, our hairbrushes would constantly fall to the ground. The area around the hotel was a little lonely and off beat late at night.
The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, the place was very clean and quiet, and the bed was amazingly comfy! We slept so well. The shower was big enough to be comfy and the room had enough shelves for organizing our things.

We didn't like the folks hanging out to the left of the front door. Many times they were either drugged out of on some substance. We understand that is not your issue but just sharing our dislike.
We were in room 222. It worked great for my husband and I as well as our little dog. We were very comfortable at your hotel. We liked the workspace downstairs and also enjoyed bringing lunch to the garden.

It's 1 star, so you kind of expect it. However - room is extremely small, no seperate bathroom and sink & shower located next to the bed. Zero privacy. - very minimal towels (no floor towel, no face towels, only 1 hand towel) - noisy situation all night outside, even with the windows fully closed - had to pay €15! to leave our 2 small suitcases for few hours after checkout. Minimum charge is 24h
Location is good, close to metro station/restaurants and within 20 minutes to the main Madrid train station or the downtown area. Other than location no real standout reason to stay here. Overal hotel seemed clean and modern

the room was small, there weren't enough places to put your stuff. ( hanger, wardrobe vs. ) The shower and the toilet were separate from each other. After bathing the floor becomes wet and gross. At night a water sound comes all night and also street noise... in general, I don't like my stay there... It was the worst Ibis hotel that I have ever stayed in...

The room is incredibly tiny. The mattresses slide right off the beds. The toilet is not soundproof AT ALL, so only book it if you're alone or have no secrets from your travel mate. On top of everything, our toilet door got broken, and nothing was done about it for 2 days till it fell off completely, at which point we were offered to move to a different room in the middle of the night (without a single apology from the staff). Not worth the money, stay elsewhere

Lack of privacy, because the toilet door hasn’t a real handle. You can’t fully close it. It remains open all the time. The room is not well soundproofed, you can hear the self-closing doors of the floor, you can hear the traffic jam of the main road, the neighbours’s tv etc. Lack of amenities: you have to ask for a hair dryer, no kettle, just one towel per person, no free coffee/tea
