Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location is amazing! On a Super cute quiet street close to everything! Apartments are tasteful and have everything you need. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The entire above and beyond in helping us. I highly recommend.

The house has thin walls so one can hear neighbour walking around in their apartment:-) and people on the street. But this is something you can expect from old houses, so it was not a big surprise. As there was a Barca game on our arrival night, we did not even need to look at it on TV as every goal Barca had was welcomed with a big hurra on the street. But this was very cool and very Barcelona:-).
Super clean, very good location, metro and bus stations are within 5 minutes walking distance, friendly host. Our apartment was spacious, big wardrobe in the bedroom, enough table space in the bathroom, a kitchen fully equipped, even had a wine opener and juice press:-)

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. It was occasionally a bit noisy late evening, but is in the middle of a city so only to be expected.
Really good location, very central but very close to many quality and authentic restaurants. Easy access to all the main sites.

I contacted the owner in advance to ask for the sofabed to be made up, as we would want to use it. They replied to say yes but when we arrived it had not been done.
The flat is in a great location and is nicely furnished. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Would recommend!

Location was great, super clean, cozy and tidy. Very good layout and had everything we needed. Only thing that wasn't 100% was we ran out of toilet paper one night. Maybe an extra roll or two? We would DEFINETLY rent it again!

The first night the apartments above were loud, but didnt really impact us too much

The apartment was impeccably clean, and very well situated to visit all of the touristic areas (literally 10 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to La Rambla). We also loved the location in the Born district as there are many nice restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this location for a comfortable stay that is close to everything.

There was a smell every time we entered the apartment - not sure if it's permanent or something that we had the bad luck to get (like a gas or spray against insects) The apartment was clean but a lot of dust appeared super quickly. The floors are very cold and the air conditioning is loudly and dries the air terribly. Entering the apartment was like an 'Exit game' everytime: code for main door, code for key, key for elevator, code and key for door. Not fun when you are on a rush 😁 I didn't like it that the price did not include the city tax, which we had to pay closer to the stay.
Great location Kitchen with necessary appliances: microwave oven, toaster, kettler; A set of clean towel/sponge for dishes -very nice!

Location very hard to find and taxis don’t go into the narrow streets there. Got lost multiple times. Company business manages the studio and has business hours only.
Sweet small apartment with everything you need including stove burners, plates, cups etc, washing machine and small terrace with table & 2 chairs. Very comfortable for a couple. Location is near Santa Maria Cathedral and good restaurants

It would be a good idea to have a small starter kit in the kitchen, with oil and salt and pepper. The furniture was a little more worn than in the photos.
Check-in was easy and the instructions were clear and helpful. The apartment was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. Bathroom was ample, and closet space was very good. Everything worked very well in the apartment, air-con, wi-fi, washing machine, etc. Location is great and the neighbourhood is full of things to do and see.
