On our previous visit there was a buffet breakfast, which we looked forward to, but, unfortunately there is no longer a buffet breakfast. We were the first people to stay in refurbished room 415,cold water only in the shower and no toilet roll holder.

Tostada and coffee were good value. We have stayed there before and the location is excellent for visiting our house in Lucar.

Hot water did not work in the evening when I went to have a shower. Also website says gym and hot tub but there wasn’t which was very disappointing.

Breakfast was very good for me with lots of cereal, fruit and yoghurt. However not much meat and no eggs for my husband. Rooms very comfortable. Pretty garden, big bar and terrace. Nice tapas.

Noise. I was in Room 209 which I worked out was below the kitchen and restaurant. The noise of scraping of furniture on the stone floor went on until midnight and started again at 5am.

There was no coffee/Tea making facilities, in the room - which for a 4star hotel, I was surprised. We also asked (if possible), for a bath. There was no bath, maybe the hotel does not have baths - but at the reception, this was not explained. Also the hotel is opposite a quarry, which during the day can get busy. Night time, it is quite.

On-site bar served excellent and value for money food. Staff were very helpful and service was excellent.

The A/C is central air and was never cool, I had to open the window to cool the room down.

The hotel is well run and the staff are great. The room was comfortable and well sized, and the breakfast was good.

This is the second time that I have had trouble with the WIFI - it allows you to log on and then you get error messages such as "Page not found", then you receive a request for your email address. If I pay over 60€ for a night in an hotel, I don't expect to have to fill out WIFI forms. I have stayed at many hostals and hotels in Spain and have never had a problem with WIFI access. In the end I used mobile access. They really have to sort this problem out.

The bar/restaurant is new and very clean. It is used by locals which is always a good sign.

Toilet in our room would not flush most of the time. (Told staff) Nowhere to hang towels. No mirror in room apart from small one in bathroom. B Breakfast buffet, items in hot tray were cold & we were in the dining room at 7:15 Coffee not good Toaster only warmed the toast despite going through toaster 3 times.

Near a couple of shops but nothing special. No pool no where to sunbath. When we asked if we could lay in the gardens we was told no by a laugh. We must be fully dressed. No1 spoke English or even a little google translate come in handy. The restaurant is lovely but very over priced.

Hotel well situated at the very entrance of a small town. No parking problems. Reception efficient and very good room with sitting area as well as good-sized bathroom and bed area. The bar/café was busy but again efficient. The disappointment was the restaurant located at the end of the attractive garden area. Very little atmosphere and indifferent food. Echoed next morning at breakfast in the café which was not impressive. So, a rather mixed experience.

There was a sewer type of smell in the room, the air con only seemed to blow hot air about. We couldn’t get it to work properly even though we are used to air con systems.This made for an uncomfortable nights sleep.
