Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomArea around my bell tent wasn't cleaned in the 2 days that I stayed there. Bags of rubbish had been left behind by previous guests, and nobody noticed.
Staff and campsite facilities were generally excellent, especially the swimming pool area, which was very clean. Great location overlooking a river on one side, with the beach just across the road on the other side.

SpainSmall detail, but an electric kettle would be a very welcome addition in the deluxe Bali tents as there is a fridge and plates and cutlery but no way to make a hot drink.
Very comfortable beds with super warm duvets and a nice little heater which was very much needed during a January stay. Very well equipped with most of the essentials covered. Toilet and shower very good with almost instantaneous hot water.

Portugal-the camping itself was super crowded. -the pool is small -we had a couple of nights with noise coming from neighbors. nothing major though. -the floor of the tent upon our arrival needed an extra swipe specially under the bed
it was our first camping trip with the kids , we were little concern after reading some of the “bad” reviews, specially since our stay was during peak season. (first week of August) . but i have to say all went smooth, as most reviews staff was 5star, very friendly and helpful. i have to point out that the bathroom and shower facilities were much better than I excepted. Everything was always clean, toilet paper and hand wash dispensers, no waiting for shower and abundant hot water. kampaoh tents are grouped together but inside the main camping site, but you can experience a sort of exclusive camping feeling. the tents are fully equipped (for a tent) , reasonable size fridge, mattresses, linens , shower towels, power sockets, light, place to hang clothes, some dish and glassware, cutlery, and even a small kit with sponge and dishwasher soap. the “cherry on top” was a retro style cool-box available to take to the beach we had our bicycles with us, so beach (5min) and the isla cristina ( 10 min) away. bonus: no bugs, minimum mosquitos, and absence of flys.

FinlandThe place was very crowded and dusty in July. Cleaning in the tent was not perfect. Sand in the floor and the rubbish bin in toilet was all too small.
It was an experience for someone who always sleeps in a hotel. Atmosphere was nice and safe, families, couples, kids. No noicy people.

SpainSome of the activities were closed (e.g. the zipline) since it was considered out of peak season. If you have young kids/babies, the campsite it quite noisy until mid-night.
What a gem! The location was fantastic - short walk to the beach and several restaurants plus a 5 min drive downtown. The tents were clean, spacious and a great introduction to ¨glamping¨ for a young family. Each tent has it´s own dedicated parking which was convenient and easy to load/unload baggage. We opted for the Anza tent which comes with it´s own bathroom which was clean and well organized. We had the added bonus of a suprise Halloween party organised by the camp which was a great experience for the kids. Besides the glamping option there also appear to be many different camping and bungalo options. What a nice experience!

PortugalKampaoh is completely integrated in the camping park. There are no exclusive facilities, which was disappointing. This means that the toilets, the swimming pool, one (!!!) microwave and everything else is shared by thousands of people. The toilets get completely crowded and dirty during rush hour, where you have to wait to take a shower. Wifi is terrible… and I know you can't be too picky about that on a camping site, but they tell you that you have free wifi on common areas, which is not true. The camping has an okay store, but they charge you €2,50 for a little bag of ice. Ice... frozen water... €2,50! There's a "pizza restaurant" that's overpriced and they serve you frozen pizza that anyone can buy at the supermarket for a fraction of the price. The camping is quite noisy up until 1 a.m. We have two 4 year-old kids that were having a really hard time falling asleep, as people stay outside their tents talking really loudly. And forget going to the swimming pool. We were quite excited about it and it looked nice in the photos, but in 6 days, we were there for 30 minutes and left traumatised. It's simply not big enough for the thousands of people in the park. There's not one square meter of water where you can swim, it's totally packed and the water is cloudy because of all the body fluids.
The location is good, only 8-9 minutes walking distance from the beach. The mattresses were comfortable and, in general, the tent is nicely equipped. The activities in the camping park are well varied and they offer nice options for children.

United StatesThe staff was very disorganized. After registration they sent us to pick up the key to another place which was closed. Staff didn’t know that the location had changed (since almost a year) and kept sending us to the wrong place! Also at the restaurant, the kept forgetting our drink even after 3 time that we had to go inside and remind them they wouldn’t bring anything.
Love the tents!

PortugalI DEFINITELY would not stay here, it is not what is advertised at all. The campsite is MASSIVE, and the tents are right on top of each other, so much so they give you earplugs - go figure. The pool was out of service when we arrived and the restaurant closed. It really was a very disappointing arrival, so much so that we did not find it worth it to stay and actually chose to drive home instead. FALSE advertising, extremely bad customer service and just a really really disappointing end to our holiday. DO NOT STAY HERE.
The tents are nice and clean. they have a fridge and cutlery and a clean bathroom - we opted for a private bathroom.
