The hotel was even nicer than I imagined. The rooms were tidy and comfortable - the ocean view was amazing, the jacuzzi and Honesty Bar were great on the rooftop and the restaurant was excellent, so glad we had breakfast included. This hotel stands out from other places on the beach in Malaga from the research I did - it was so cozy, charming and more elevated than I realized it would be :)

It was a lovely property. The view and sound of the sea in our room was just great. I would have loved a ‘comfy chair corner’ from which to enjoy the view! The twin beds were very comfortable. Shower facility was great but I found it difficult not to flood the bathroom floor😀 sometimes. And a small fridge for those extra bottles of water would have been really good! Overall a wonderful stay in a lovely place run by a lovely team of people. 👍👍👍

The team at reception and the team at the restaurant were very helpful, absolutely charming and really friendly.

That the bar tender actually had a taxi waiting for me when NOONE was around or awake!! He did what I asked!. It was critical. As I am older & aline needed help in thatcway with my bad knees.

The room are a little small.

La Chancla is right on the beach. Just a footpath stands between the breakfast tables and the beach. The beach is cleaned daily and the water is clear and cold.

The huge bedroom windows opened directly over the beach and boardwalk giving an almost outdoor feeling. The hotel and restaurant are integral to the lively beachfront activity. Enjoy breakfast inside or outside and watch the world go by on the boardwalk and beach.

What a great experience, everything was delightful, and the sound of the wave’s while I slept was amazing, defo worth it

really delightful small hotel, super clean and modern inside, lovely sheets and comfy beds, unbelievably tranquil view right onto the sea. lovely roof terrace with jacuzzi and honesty bar, really nice touch. Nice food too and helpful friendly staff. Whole thing, including location, exceeded expectations.

I was lucky enough to be given one of the rooms on the roof terrace. The bed was the comfiest I’ve slept in and it was relaxing to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. All the staff were friendly, the food was good, the hot tub was warm and perfect for relaxing with a superb view over the beach and sea. The honesty bar is a great idea with very reasonable prices. For the included breakfast you could order a choice of fresh fruit juices, a drink such as coffee and a main dish chosen from the main breakfast menu which was a great start to the day. I will definitely stay here again.

3rd time back and still as good as ever, All the staff make it for us really friendly and a super location very good breakfast and good value for money. My wife and I travel a lot around the world and this is the only place we have ever returned to. Looking forward to the next visit

when you get shower the water goes everywhere in the bathroom very difficult to park close to the hotel, no space at all

The location is incredible, the fact you are right by the sea and can literally hear it as you nod off is incredible. It's also nice to have the restaurant there with many good options for any and every meal. The staff are lovely, even when it is so busy they are polite and considerate

Location superb, lovely long walk into Malaga City and the port - made a lovely day out. Good transport for those that dont want to walk

The location was perfect. On the beach in the middle of an old fishermen houses area with little streets and restaurants. The roof suite with the big balcony was wonderful, and the decoration was nice, fun and fresh. Neither too modern nor too "authentic", but just right for the place. Finally the staff was extremely friendly and willing to give advice or to help.

This lovely and small Hotel exceeded all our expectations. It's right by the sea, the staff is polite and kind, the breakfast was great and the view from the rooms is just stunning. It's a perfect place to relax in the lovely area of Pedregalejo. I will definitely come back!

A small thing but the bedroom itself was in Need of decorating. It was a little unfinished in decor. But bathroom was lovely.

Location and cleanliness and restaurant food

Hotel La Chancla is absolutely wonderful! It is located in a nice local area right next to a beautiful beach, and the sea view from the hotel is stunning. We had a very nice welcome from the woman in the reception and she was very freindly and helpful all the time. She is a big plus for La Chancla. The restaurant was good and very popular.
