Quaint little hotel in old neighborhood of Granada. Everything is quite old but the bathroom was clearly remodeled with modern shower and toilet. Everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly and spoke good English. The Mini split Airconditioning worked well. Close to the city center and the Alhambra.

Absolutely nothing!

Our stay was absolutely amazing at Posada de Quijada - this is a real oasis! Perfect location... in a nice quiet area with loads of local restaurants Came for our 20th wedding anniversary and was treated like royals all weekend! One of our restaurant reservations got cancelled at last minute (due to a fire) and Tony was sooo helpful giving us a few options, which we used and it was one of the best restaurant experiences we had in Granada Our room was spotless and the breakfast (freshly made by Tony himself each morning) was really yummy! Tony is an absolute gem for this place - very friendly, helpful & caring! Thank you!

It was around a five minute walk from the car park through some narrow streets but the hosts met us at the car park. Would have been even better if there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and maybe a Small table and chairs. .

Breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared. Tortilla was freshly made and so good. Paella was excellent. Guest house was beautiful and the hosts Ainhoa and Toni were great and so helpful. Rooms lovely and spacious with aircon which was needed in the intense heat.

What you have to take into consideration is that bringing car in the old part of Granada is difficult. The hotel is located in a narrow street so you can't drive to the hotel door. You will need to park in a very good pay per day car park which is only a 7 minute walk away from the hotel. Even with detailed instructions you have to follow them precisely to get to the car park. If you arrive without a car it is easier. If you do decide to arrive by car you just have to follow the instructions you are given by the hotel carefully and you will be OK.

Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Granada very near the Alhambra Palace and old historical part of Granada. The hotel manager Tony was a super-host and helped us with all the information you could ask for. He even came and helped us find the car park and got us safely to the hotel, He really made our stay as comfortable as possible. He made us a nice breakfast each morning. We had stunning views of the Alhambra Palace and the snow capped Sierra Nevada mountains from our terrace.

At the risk of being ‘picky’: we found the bed to be too firm for our taste. That seems to have been the case elsewhere in Spain, and is probably a personal preference.

It had heaps of character, was warm, cosy and very attractive. It was like a little hideaway right in the heart of the Albaicin neighbourhood. We even had a view of the Alhambra from the patio off our room. We really enjoyed our host (Tony) and he was always very helpful and attentive.

The room is tastefully decorated, very clean and the bed comfortable. It’s nice that there is a heater in the room and a separate one in the bathroom. The area is peaceful and house is surrounded by lush well maintained plants, they’re on the patio, balconies and in the terrace. They make the air incredibly fresh. In the terrace, there is a beautiful lemon tree and a distant enchanting view of the Alhambra. The house has the serenity of being far from all the noise of the city but within just several minutes downhill walk you are at the town center. The hosts, Tony and Ainhoa, are kind and very helpful. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness runs through everything at the Posada. The breakfast served in front of a log fire is cozy and delicious, everything is fresh and homemade including the marmalade(!), even the milk for the coffee is served warm. It is an oasis of beauty and quiet run by very special people.

As in much of Granada, the location is up a hill ... although that does provide the opportunity for good views!

A lovely, very comfortable place with a welcoming and friendly owner who gave us some helpful local knowledge and even a local bus pass. Our own small rooftop patio was a nice extra!
