Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Saudi ArabiaNeeds a bit of renovation. Room service food was below average. They authorized the credit card for the full room price plus deposit, yet they charged me the full room price in a separate transaction, thus unnecessarily blocking extra amounts on the card. Overall doesn't feel like a 5-star hotel.

Restaurant/Breakfast was exceptional. Food was great with lots of choices, and the service was first rate. The folks at the front desk were very informative and polite we are Americans but the dialog between us and them was never a problem. The porters and security staff were outstanding helped us on several occasions regarding transport costs, soliciting rides, and general information regarding the local area. The appearance of Le Meridan was exceptional, clean and enticing, able to relax without concern.

We had a spacious twin bedded room. The beds were very comfortable and wide, with space between them. The bathroom and shower were excellent. We had both a kettle and a coffee machine, and complimentary bottled water was supplied every day. Reception staff were all very friendly and helpful, including the late evening staff. The location was very convenient; easy to walk to many sights and close to two metros for travel further afield. Also easy for the airport bus. All in all highly recommended.

First of all the location was wonderful and that is really important while traveling in Barcelona. One of the staff members named Santiago was really so nice and helpful he helped me and my family in everything we needed and his English was excellent. Beside him the rest of the staff was ok and their English was fair . the facilities of the hotel are nice but the maintenance is not so good and you can feel that in the small details. I can say for sure that without the front desk staff Santiago I were very disappointed but he really helped us so much in everything we needed a a thing that was really well appreciated.

United StatesHallway smelled musty. We found a random pillowcase on the bed the 2nd day of our stay along with a dirty cleaning cloth near the desk. The lights where confusing to figure out and the bedside lights were useless.
Staff was very friendly and helpful!! Bed was comfortable and shower was great. We enjoyed the breakfast very much! Location made getting around the city easy.

United StatesBetter pillows. The feather pillow was so flat that it was pretty worthless. Coundn't find a cocktail lounge but then maybe there wasn't one. The shower was very difficult to get in & out of. Even my 16 year old granddaughter complained about that. It would be nice if there was something on the roof to enjoy the view but we really did like this hotel.
Loved the location & the staff was so helpful and so warm & welcoming. They always made us feel like we were almost home. Very nice room & we enjoyed our stay very much. We would stay there again.
