The location was ideal for the purpose of our visit to the Benidorm Palace. Maybe a bit too far away from the beach for families.

No kettle. Luckily I brought a travel kettle. Fridge was locked so I couldn't store any milk or water. Difficult to open the doors to the balcony and wardrobes. The walk in shower door didn't close properly so it soaked the bathroom floor. If I had been staying in the hotel for more than 1 night I would have addressed the minor issues.

Although the hotel was relatively busy it didn't seem to have much energy or atmosphere. But I suppose everyone leaves the hotel to experience the atmosphere of benidorm.

Door to my room wouldn’t lock from inside. I had a stranger chap my door and not answer when I asked who it was which, as a single female in the room made me question my security. I also thought the bathroom products were a bit basic

Location is only downfall, but was fully aware of this when booking and opted for a better hotel, than location. It’s about 15 minutes walk to main strip and 20 mins to Tiki Beach bar (just to make others aware). Personally, prefer a better hotel and a slight walk, than an over priced snide hotel in better location.

Property was spotless, rooms were excellent and a huge balcony. I’ve stayed in Benidorm many times and this is by far the best hotel we’ve stayed in. The location is the only downfall, but suppose if it was more central you’d be paying silly prices. We knew the location certainly don’t mind a walk, it took around 20 minutes to walk Tiki Beach Bar. If you struggle with walking, could always jump a taxi, but I don’t think it’s that far and plenty of bars / restaurants along the way to main strip. I’d certainly stay here again!

The hotel was difficult to find when travelling by car due the Benidorm one way confusing road network, especially when trying to find the hotel upon arrival at night. The only way to get to the hotel via sat nav was to use single track back and side roads, which linked the mains roads. The reception area is bland, colourless, disappointing and unappealing. It needs upgrading with pictures and greenery. The luxury apartment block is not linked to the main hotel building and you have to walk outside to get to it - not good when raining and it also allows free access to anyone, which we witnessed first hand, however the reception area in the luxury building is very nice, although never manned. The luxury apartment block indoor swimming pool was not managed at all, which meant that couples got up to excessive intimacy in open view - having sex in the pool. Drug taking is openly evident amongst the young adults staying at the hotel and we were approached in main hotel bar area by a hyper smashed young English man whilst being served by the barman one evening. The security was no existent. For example, we went for a drink at the Melia Hotel next door one night and a drugged up young man was escorted from the building by the hotel security and the police called. This what needs to be done at the BCL Levante Beach.

The luxury apartment with it's associated pool facilities indoor and outdoor were excellent. The restaurant was also spot on and the food provided for our half board price was first rate. All the staff were brilliant.
