How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Only issues were bathroom door wouldn't close easily and room lighting was faulty. I had to bang the main switch next to the bed to get all the lights to work. Things that can be easily fixed. Due to the room being great I didn't feel the need to complain.

There's no snack bar outside its in the actual restaurant of the hotel which is a few floors above reception and pool area so you have to get fully dressed to have a bite too eat. No toilets outside or near pool area, so have to walk through bar area, reception area past lifts to go to the loo. we thought we'd try the snack bar, we walked into a very empty restaurant thinking we had gone to the wrong place for snacks to be told we was in the right place, as we walked into the restaurant we couldnt see any food out whatsoever until we walked to the far end of the restaurant to be met with a few large bowls which inside them had sausage, hash browns and beans that was it!! Bearing in mind, this was 12 noon, and breakfast was 8am. I asked, "Was this the actual snacks for the snack bar? Which i was told yes it was!! We just turned round and walked away as we had already had breakfast and didn't fancy freezing cold breakfast items which clearly had been there since around 8 am. I've never experienced this at a hotel being given leftover breakfast as a snack!! When we were looking at booking this hotel, we booked as it's an adult only hotel that doesn't allow stag or hen parties or groups of people. The last few days of our stay we noticed quite alot of big rowdy groups sat round the pool drinking, swearing, shouting, they were told numerous times to stop drinking in the pool which they blatantly ignored by life guards, large groups of them in the pool messing, jumping in on each other ect, as the day went on they got louder and louder which made us feel quite uncomfortable and we didn't want to be around the pool or go into the pool, we spoke to reception and stated why is this being allowed as it clearly states this will not be tolerated, to be told by staff they're not on a stag party and really there's nothing they can do about it and shrugged it off.

Firstly, regarding the facilities near the pool area, we do have toilets available: one is located on floor -1, accessible from the main pool zone, and another is situated in the second pool area, with external access for added convenience. We understand the importance of easy access to these amenities and will ensure signage is more visible to help future guests locate them without difficulty. Concerning the snack bar, we regret that your experience was disappointing. The snack service is currently located within the main restaurant, which does require appropriate attire. Your feedback regarding the food presentation and freshness at midday has been noted and will be shared with our kitchen team to improve the quality and variety of our offerings. With regard to the presence of large groups during your stay, we would like to clarify that our hotel does not accept stag or hen parties. Unfortunately, there are occasions when guests book under separate names, and we only become aware that they are part of a group upon arrival. In such cases, we ask all group members to sign a behavior agreement, which outlines our expectations and the consequences of any disturbances or damage. Should guests fail to comply, they may be charged accordingly and, if necessary, asked to leave the hotel. Our lifeguards and pool bar staff are instructed to remind guests to behave respectfully, and if the situation persists, our reception team or management will intervene directly. We sincerely regret that this issue affected your enjoyment of the pool area, and we assure you that we are continuously working to maintain a peaceful and pleasant environment for all our guests. Verified reviewStayed here two years ago and had a great time and ur was no different this time. We will be back next summer. Bar , entertainment and reception staff are top human beings and love the hotel in general. The facilities and spa is lovely.
Small observation would be to get a bar located by the new part of the hotel and clothes horse to dry wet swimwear in the new part because you have them in the old part. Otherwise very happy

Verified reviewHotel BCL levante club and spa adult actually profiled me and my wife because we were black. We walked in with some other customers (white) to the kitchen for our first dinner and we were pulled aside for questioning. I assumed it was a random procesure. I watched as they treated other customers. The next night, we were rudely pull aside again by another member of the kitchen staff without asking others people we came in together. I expressed myself that their staff was rude in her approach, another staff told me he will call the police on me. ( as a client that has followed all the rules and made all payments for services yet to be rendered)?
