This last trip stayed twice in the hotel for 1 night. Both rooms assigned were not up to the hotel standards. Rm 34 had bad odor in the bathroom and. arm 107 received all odors from the kitchen. Night rate paid was not for any of these rooms.

Our room was facing a street which was not busy, but you could still hear the odd couple of people walking past at night, if you’re a light sleeper!

The location was excellent, very central and close to shops, restaurants, bars and attractions and metro station. The size of our bedroom was a very good size for a hotel in the capital city. Lots of choice at the breakfast buffet.

All good with the hotel but if you book tours with Julia Travel be aware taxis to/from will be abt.€20 on top of tour cost. Their coach is parked underground a fair walk from office. Don't book Avila tour on a Sunday as no entry open to anything! Segovia was fine.

The lighting in the bathroom was poor and the room was a bit tight for 2 people. A non-slip mat should have been provided for the shower. There were no instructions for the house telephone and no times listed for their dining rooms.

The location was perfect, and for us, within walking distance of the Prado and the Royal Palace. There were excellent restaurants within the area. The hotel staff was excellent.

The hotel was in renovations. There was some noise in the lobby.

Great location. Minutes by walking from the center and many other attractions. The room was not big but organized nicely so it was comfortable. The bed was excellent and Breakfast (we did not pay in advance) was also great.

Classy! Immaculate. Excellent sheets, pillows and towels. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Convenient location. We are rather scruffy looking, heavy metal people, and we were always treated with respect and kindness.

I loved evrything

The hotel had big rooms and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room included bath robes and slippers. On my husband's birthday, we even received champagne! The breakfast was amazing and the dining room was stunning. The staff is very kind and helpful, they happily took care of all of our requests. The hotel is located in the center and we visited all the tourist sites by foot, without needing any public transport. I really recommend this hotel, I'm certain I'll book it again next time I visit Madrid.
