Nothing to dislike, especially for the price.

Ideally placed at the entrance to town on the main road. Very Spanish feel to it. Breakfast was OK thats all. My room was good with a large balcony and great views. This hotel was very cheap for the standard, in fact excellent value.

Although the hotel was very clean there was a dreadful drain smell in the bathroom. I would suggest they run water through to get rid of the smell. The breakfast is very basic we just had coffee and juice. It really is just an overnight stay hotel.

It's a great location just off the motorway. We had a meal in the restaurant which was great and very reasonable. The wine was also very good.

    Nothing of importance.

Room was clean and loved the balcony looking out over olive fields. The restaurant offered a 10 euro Menu which was excellent, very unusual for a hotel. Breakfast in the bar was limited in choice but plenty to eat.

Good hotel for commercial traveller but not really a holiday hotel. We dined in the hotel restaurant first night. Excellent meal. The breakfast was taken in the bar which was noisy. Second night we had to dine in bar as dining room closed for redecoration which was not notified to us. The bar is noisy and not congenial for a pleasant meal.

Bed comfy, room and bathroom very clean.

The information about the hotel doesn't make it clear that Hotel Los Dolmenes is too far out of town for guests to comfortably walk into Antequera to eat at the various restaurant choices there. Rather than drive ( and therefore not drink) we chose to eat at the hotel, which was fine ( good menu, nice food) but for two of the three evenings we were there we were the only guests and the restaurant lacked atmosphere. Our only other disappointment was the inclusive breakfast which was eaten in the bar area and turned out to be a cup of coffee, orange juice and an item selected from the bar snack menu. It was ok, just a bit disappointing.

Hotel Los Dolmenes is situated on the outskirts of Antequera in what can only be described as the commercial district. The building is attractive both externally and internally, and despite being near a fairly busy road it was quiet ( at least in January) Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a generous balcony and an attractive view. The hotel is light and airy with a good sized restaurant and a small friendly bar/snack area, staffed by helpful and friendly staff.

We had a room overlooking a private garden space attached to the hotel were a dog roamed freely with dog dirt never removed. As result we felt that the large number of flies were coming from this area. This made using the balcony and the room more unpleasant.

Whilst we were not unhappy with the location the hotel was opposite a small industrial site, but only several miles from town centre.

The bedroom was large and nicely furnished and decorated. En suite very good, toiletries supplied. Delightful inner garden could be viewed from all floors. A la carte menu reasonably priced and menu del dia (served at night also) was extremely good value. Restaurant staff friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast with good supply of tea or coffee. Also garden area but did not have time to fully view. Some rooms had mountain view. Ample free car parking.

The room was equipped with lots of individual lights, but all shrouded in dense, small lampshades, and they were small LED lamps, which left the room rather gloomy. The worst thing about the lighting however was that it was impossible to read in bed , because the light intensity was far too low and the bedside lamp was located high up on the wall. I reported to the desk that the water in the WC basin never stopped slowly running after being flushed.

Wi-Fi especially, but all else was comfortable

The location is not that romantic because it's situated directly at a roundabout in an industrial area. The terrace to sit outside is faced to the road, not the garden, which is unfortunate. The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment because we could only choose between maybe 10 different sandwiches and we expected it to be more like a buffet.

It is a good hotel when you travel with a car because it's about 3 km to Antequera. There are lots of parking spaces in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is very nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I can recommend the stay there! Antequera is quite beautiful and the area is absolutely great for hiking (El Totcal)! The check in and check out were very fast with no waiting. Speed of room service and the ham, cheese and tomato salad were superb. The house red wine was excellent. Great value for money after staying at a Parador where you felt you were being ripped off all the time. Parking outside the hotel was free and the room had its own terrace with mountain views. After being overcharged in a restaurant en route and paying 101 euros for a 2 course meal of poor quality at the Parador, this hotel was so refreshing honest and nothing was any trouble. Great hotel for stopping en route to Malaga or Seville.

As it is on the outskirts of the town there is nowhere to walk to, you need to drive to the shops or get a taxi, about 7 euros, into Antiquera which is gorgeous. However this means you have great views of the surrounding hills and olive farmland and it is peaceful even though there is a busy road outside. It makes it very convenient to find the hotel and to travel around the area as it is near the A45. I would have liked a pool at the hotel to make it perfect!

The hotel facilities are excellent, air con bar and restaurant, outside space to sit, fantastic staff, so helpful and friendly. Our room was excellent, big balcony, superb quiet air con, etc. The breakfast choice was brilliant, bar snacks very good and the a la carte menu was superb and very good value. The menu del dia is good value but more basic and seems to cater for business men locally from Mon to Friday. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Because we kept the windows to our terrace open all night, we were very aware that the hotel is located beside an exceptionally busy road, with lorries passing all through the night. With the windows closed, there was only a distant sound of traffic.

located outside the town so a car is a must, sits right on a very busy road with a lot of traffic noise up to midnight and from early in the morning (although its not noisy with the balcony door closed), no safe in room - we asked for one and it was provided along with bolts to attach it to the wall - unfortunately they didn't do that they left it sitting on the fridge!, breakfast is very basic (roll with your choice of filling, orange juice and coffee) served in the bar - sometimes not possible to get a seat as the bar is busy in the morning,

great room - clean and spacious with a good sized bathroom, good aircon, nice to have a balcony although the traffic from the busy road was a bit annoying, nice area outside front of bar to sit with a beer or coffee albeit also noisy from traffic, staff for the most part were very friendly and helpful

Well it is what it is. Not a holiday resort with the real place of interest being the dolmen. So if you are traveling it's a great central place to stop.

It's a very nice building not too far from the dolmen. You can walk it in 15-20 mins if you like to walk.
