A really nice, charaterful, charming hotel on the edge of a small park. Well situated to walk into town and with bars and restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and well decorated and furnished. Cleanliness was good and the staff friendly and helpful.

New ZealandThe staff were very busy with a bus tour and it felt as though we were a bit of a nuisance. The breakfast was very average.
This hotel was centrally located near a quiet park in Santillana. It was an easy 5 minute walk into the historic centre where there were great bars and restaurants. It was also only a 2.2km walk to the Caves. The hotel had good parking and the room had everything we needed.

Reasonably priced hotel in a small, remarkably preserved old town which is a major tourist attraction. The hotel is only a short walk from the historic parts of the town. Mid-September the hotel was quiet, so I could park at the side of the hotel. Nice helpful receptionists.

United KingdomThe staff were absolutely incredible! They went above and beyond for us in every way. When we came before check in after a tough night on the camino, they gave us a room right away. Then, when all of the restaurants were closed, we bought soup mix. The laxy at the front desk ended up making us the soup and washing our dishes afterwards. We can't rate this hotel high enough for their great hospitality! We would 100% come back!

Sometimes it's not the place it's the people in it. This was my experience with Hotel los Hidalgos. My husband had a very bad fall in the street and broke ribs ,had an overnight stay in hospital and we had to stay 5 nights instead of 1. The kindness shown to us over that period of time was exceptional. The night I returned alone from the hospital, they provided me with dinner and a much needed glass of wine. So kind. I will always remember the people here with fondness. Thank u all so much
