I stayed in 510 which was great apartment but, and it’s a big but, the people who stayed above us were very noisy!!! Their noise started in the very early hours of the morning, around 5am until about 9.30am. I should have alerted reception but didn’t. Don’t know what they were doing at that time but boy were they noisy!!! Another little niggle was that there is no 24 hour reception. Next time I’m booking the 3 bedroom penthouse so no one is above us. Overall though I loved the place!!

Loved the location to the sea. Only downside was it was a bit far away from larger amenities but the local ones were great.

The playa real reception has had its bar and restraunt shut, so very poor services.

It said there was a family entertainment, bar and Restraunt on site and when we got there the apartment is walled in with just an outside pool. There was no family entertainment and the restaurant was on the beach which wasn’t linked to the resort. The booking.com ad is misleading. This is just a apartment block with pool! Check in with a a hotel across the road and their restaurants were closed. We also had a problem with our safe in our room on check out. We had a a problem with our electric and the mains power had tripped. This caused the safe to rest! We woke up at 6.30am to leave to the airport and the safe wouldn’t open. Reception is closed until 9am and there is no Emergancy contact numbers! We found a cleaner who didn’t speak English but we used English translator to ask her for help but they couldn’t open the safe so we had to wait for reception to open at 9am and our flight was 10.15am! I can not believe there is no Emergancy contact details.

Having been in and out of the property twice with no problem on the first day there, we went out for dinner and then could not get in - we were locked out because the digital lock developed a fault and neither of our 2 digital keys worked. Reception at the main property is only manned till 9pm and it was only by absolute luck that we saw the receptionist at 9.50pm and she very kindly unlocked reception and let us in, but our lock could not be fixed till 2pm the next day!! (Real keys or 24hour reception if using digital keys please!!!) There were also little ants everywhere, particularly in the main bathroom and on the patio. Some ant powder or fumigation is needed. Several of the lights flickered. Provision of pool/beach towels would have been helpful/a great touch, but very small bath towels were provided and changed twice in 9 nights.

Location was superb, in easy walking distance of several great restaurants and small supermarkets. Furniture and decor were all really good and the property was well equipped with everything we needed. Grounds and pool were really well maintained and all staff we encountered were friendly and professional. Didn’t know that we would be getting room serviced/cleaning and fresh towels every 3 days. This is a plus, but would have been helpful to know when housekeeping were due as we went out one day leaving all our valuables out and were surprised the sheets and towels had been changed. Of course nothing was taken, but we would have put everything in the safe if we had known! We would definitely book this property again!

Although there were a few beach bars and two small supermarkets within walking distance, there wasn't much else within comfortable walking distances.

The appartment was very well equipped and spotless. The pool area was clean and uncrowded.

The accommodation was great and all the appliances except the air-conditioning wasn't working well and very noisy. The pool was dirty. I had to get them clean the pool and only say this happened once within our 1 week stay. One of my kids returned with an ear infection now on antibiotics 😪

A minor gripe would be that the sun beds at the pool need updating and refreshed as some of them broken.

Nadine on front desk was superb and it was an excellent location on the beach, close to good restaurants and shops

The main thing - the double bed. A bit small and very hard and uncomfortable - we found it difficult to sleep. Eventually we asked at reception for a mattress topper which improved matters still not perfect.I would recommend asking for a mattress topper. They really should upgrade the mattresses but it appears the opposite may be the case. It also would have been nice to have cushions on the sofas as they're also not very comfortable. (we used spare pillows as cushions instead). Since our last visit we noticed the in house bar under reception (which used to do a happy hour) and Roberto's in house pizza restaurant had been closed.

Excellent location and lovely. roomy well-appointed two bed apartment with living area, ,kitchen, roomy balcony, pool and super beach/sea views. Stone's throw from the beach and the nice Papillon bar and beachside restaurant (one of the best in the area) where guests had a 10 per discount on food. The housekeeping was great and the apartment was kept very clean. Reception staff polite and professional. Walking distance to other beach restaurants and bars and a mini supermarket. Another positive is that the resort is no longer hassling people for timeshare opportunities and invitations from salesmen which is great if you've just paid for a one off holiday and just want to keep to yourself and enjoy yourself!
