Parking is a real problem in Sitges. This is not particular to this hotel, but to all in the older (more atmospheric) part of town. Paid parking was extortionate (30 euro per night) and not near to the hotel, but other options were available in May ie low season. The real issue is that it is very difficult to even get to the hotel to drop luggage off (even with modern SATNAV and google maps) and there is no general drop off point nearby. The town of SITGES should recognise this and do their bit to assist both tourists with a drop off zone and local hoteliers who have no way of helping their clientele, even if they want to. Our room faced out onto the street. There was endless noise -nothing other than general coming and going but it was difficult to get any rest with the windows open, which we prefer to aircon if it is not too hot. Fortunately both the double glazing and the air con were efficient which more or less eliminated the problem. Although we are not worried by having to climb stairs, the partially spiral nature of the staircases in the hotel did make carrying even hand luggage quite difficult. This hotel would not be a good choice for elderly, infirm or unfit folk!

The location of the hotel was ideal, near to bars, restaurants, the seafront. The old town was quite close by and less than 10 minutes on foot. The room itself was clean, airy and comfortable. Storage was good except lacked shelves in favour of miles of hanging space. Staff were well trained and helpful.

Extremely small bathroom - you don´t have space to turn around. When you open the door, you immediately jump onto the toilet. 2 very small windows looking at the inner walls at the hotel - no good view. If you leave the windows open (which you have to in order to get fresh air, as very moisty), you hear the hotel washing machines working all night long. The pictures of the rooms are unrealistic and give an idea of a very spacious hotel rooms.

Amazing location - exactly at the sea side and 2 minutes walk from the walking area with all the shops and restaurants. Clean room with air conditioner.

The property is a little noisy. Floors are stone and doors could do with dampers and better designed locks. Bring earplugs if you're easily disturbed.

Our room was too small for a double and the shower cubicle in the bathroom very tight.

Great location 1/2 block back from Sitges beachfront in quiet street. Friendly staff. Sitges is a pleasant seaside village. Restaurant Bon Estar Sitges has an excellent menu including Paella 'classico' , an extensive winelist and great service at a reasonable price -- best to book a table.

Heating is provided by AC unit (noticed it was common in old buildings in that region), which did not provide constant temp, but did provide some noise during the night (if you wanted some heat). There is NO heating in the bathroom, and it was freezing every time we had to use it. (An electric heater there would be welcome!). Some of the staff did not speak more than basic English, and also did not know what to recommend (to do/to eat) in town.

Place is clean, quiet, bed comfortable, TV has option to change spoken language for some channels (to English), breakfast (if not included) is cheap, very basic (mostly toast sandwiches), but gets your day started. It is a good alternative for the (too) expensive places in Barcelona, if you plan to visit it, and the trip is 40 minutes with frequent trains.

Only stayed 2 nights but had problems with ants and got bitten around 20 times all down my side. Either got into my clothes or in the bed. Ants will be ants and probably seasonal, though not very pleasant and could have done without it. To park a car for free over, it is a good 15-20 minute walk in a free zone, and having to drop off your bags up a narrow one way street is also not that easy. Balcony was large and nice up on the top floor, but no lift so difficult with bags and small family. Also we were disturbed one evening with other guests thinking they could use our balcony as communal door at the top.

A very good balcony. Great location to the beach. Friendly front desk staff.

Walls were a little thin, which meant that your neighbours were aware when you had a friend visit, and vice versa.

Surprisingly comfortable, roomy and nice for something branded as a "Hostal". No problems in bringing back...friends. Didn't mind leaving key at reception, some of the late night clubs are known for pickpockets so it was handy not to have to worry about that, and not to have to bulk out pockets with a quite chunky key. I didn't really use it but the roof terrace is super nice and gets all the sunlight.

The breakfast was basic. I would take the room without breakfast and go out the amazing restaurants which are a stone throw away.

This is a great place with an awesome location. Right next to the beach and shopping area if Sitges. The staff is super friendly - they helped arrange a bike for me to ride around and I lost my glasses in the sea they went out of their way to help me. They lock the outside door and one does not have a key. The door-bell only works when one presses very long. this is NOT explained to the guests.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent if you do not need a view out of your window.

For the price, hard to complain. If anything, bathroom was a squeeze.

Great location. Communal roof terrace perfect in the afternoon. Our room had a charming balcony onto the street.

The only unconvenience was the view from the window - it looked to the wall.

Hostal was very close to the seaside, it takes only 2 minutes to the nearest beach. Equipment was newly-bought and clean. Staff was very kind and always smilling. There was a beautiful terrace with a view for a sea.

Nothing to dislike. Water was reversed (cold was hot and hot was cold) in the room so the water in the toilet was hot which made the room humid but will probably be fixed

Location is great, next to the beach and centre but in a calm street which is good and the staff was lovely. Room was super clean and deco simple but perfect for the type of accomodation and true to pictures.

Room did not have a lot of daylight. The burning of antimusquito stuff in the small lightcourt does not make sense

The location is fine. In the citycentre and still very quiet.

Room could be a little light when the neighbouring room had their light on (bring your eye mask!)

Very close to the beach, very friendly staff, nice clean and modern design, and a good price for the area and time of year

Staff did not advise that parking on the street required tickets and we got fined. Otherwise it's a great place

Great location. Parking A bit of a hassle but overall great value for the price

No view to any, due to window's position

Everything was new, the staff very friendly, helpfull and very comunicative. The pension is 2minutes walk from the beach, from the shop, restaurantes and clubs! The owner and the reception guy were extremly friendly and they helped us with a lot of information! For sure we will go there next time!!!
