It is about 10-15 min walk from sea front and town and I wouldn't want to walk back after dark on my own.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. We arrived in late, after the reception is usually closed but we told them in advance and they kindly stayed late to let us in. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and had balconies attached. Breakfast was good; continental but cooked eggs (scrambled, fried or omelette) and bacon available too. Also had fruit, cold meats, smoked salmon, avocado and tomato, croissant, pastries, pain-au-chocolat etc. One of our party used the spa and found it excellent. There is a michelin star restaurant attached and another restaurant which serves lunch and dinner.

Rooms, shabyness in general, looked more like a 2 star hotel

Suggestions: Water in rooms needed - we were given some when we asked - rooms a little dated in decor but fine - there needs to be separate hot water for tea at breakfast as it’s only from coffee machine and tastes a little of coffee

Although a very excellent place and staff were superb the one thing you need is smart TVs in your room so people can watch a bit of tv if relaxing in their rooms I like to watch current affairs and news and was told of multiple channels that didn’t work with the current set up if you had smart TVs linked the internet you could access things far more easily

Being local to myself and wife it was very handy to go to.

nothing on the hotel, but walking from and to the hotel at night can give you an uncomfortable feeling as some streets are not lighted at all.

The hotel offers a lot options and services is located not far away from the beach but just enough to make it more calm. Free parking (enough space), enjoyable entrance, great pool and inside wellness, great restaurants. We stayed 4 nights and the reception desk workers impressed us the most. Always open for a chat, advice, help etc. We really loved that (thanks so much again)!!

Some areas were looking a little worn/tired. Our patio area, although large, had very dried up plants. Some of the sunbeds had worn cushions and paintwork in some areas was peeling. Just needs a little tlc. Also the tables outside weren't cleared very quickly and so wasps were appearing.

A 10min walk from the beach with a Lidl supermarket enroute. A lovely pool area with comfy sunbeds. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was great as was breakfast

FANTASTIC, good location, quiet. Clean, modern, single room large with private terrace had 2 x sunbeds, table and chairs, excellent. Only stayed for 1 night so did not eat at hotel, however I have heard that the food is excellent and both restaurants were full in the evening with people from the surrounding area so goes to show must be popular. Breakfast was lovely but the best part of the stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff 10 out of 10. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others. A big Thank You 👍👍👍

The air-conditioning could have been a little better. I think the filter needs to be changed in such a hot country.

We enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Appeared to be a lack of serving staff. Breakfast menus submitted prior evening were lost. Not all components of breakfast were served. Delivery of meals were slow .

The bedrooms and bathrooms require re-decoration. These are looking shabby.

Location was good for me, very efficient staff.

The staff was super friendly an gave excellent service. The restaurants are great. Definitely book a meal lunch or dinner in one (or both) of them. Very quit area but close (15 minute walk) to the beach. Parking space (lots of it) in private area. Bulgaria shower stuff.

I would have used the spa facilities but the writing on brochure was much to small to read. Should have been pre warned about restaurant and booking, as fully booked for meal after me got there and closed completely next day.

The towel bar in front of the sink holding the two small towels was broken. I would pick up a towel and the bar would come away from the sink. The very amiable limpiadora organised for the bar to be fixed after a couple of days. The shower nozzle looked and felt like it was purchased in a chino shop - it was not reflective of the fittings normally found in a 4-star hotel. The headboard at the top of the bed was not fixed either to the wall or the bed. So when sleeping every time you moved the pillow the headboard would bang noisily against the wall. Not that I was in Calpe to watch tv, but it was curious to note that almost all the English-speaking channels (BBC) received no signal. Also, once switched off at night my tv would switch itself back on within a half-hour or so!? Downstairs by the pool, too many of the sunbeds had a broken mechanism to raise and lower the back surface. And my goodness, you could not shower before entering the water because the water coming out of the showers was scolding hot!

The breakfast was always very good, and the chica working breakfasts at 10-10.30am was always smiley and helpful. I didn't try the restaurant nor the gym.
