No tea/coffee making facilities in the room which for a four star hotel was quite poor, also the fact that there was no safe on the room.

Good selection for breakfast & the happy hour at night was an added bonus

Wi-fi is poor and needs a major improvement. Not suitable for heavy browsing from the room. Double bed was too small. As there is enough space in the room, a bigger bed would fit perfectly so management should consider it. The view from the room was not good as it was facing backyard.

Great location - close to metro stop Angel Guimera ( which takes you from and to the airport directly ). Old historical city center is within 5-6 minutes walking. Nearby plenty of supermarkets. Room was spacious with all the needed comfort.

The room was incredibly hot. It would appear that the air con is controlled by a central system that only blows out hot air. The bathroom was poorly configured and would be better with a walk-in shower. The room also had a large pillar in the middle of it. The room had no iron, no tea or coffee making facilities. I would venture that the hotel offers a 'bottom-end' 4☆ experience at most.

The staff were all very friendly and attentive and spoke good English. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was extensive. Laundry service was good albeit somewhat expensive.

The restaurant could have been a lot better for this type of hotel.

Very dark decor ... unless you love brown!!! Brown walls , brown floor, brown woodwork. Comfortable lounge/lobby but very cold in December..... receptionist wearing an overcoat. .... and couldn’t switch on the living flame gas fire which would have cheered up a very dreary evening. Dining room had a very late opening ( normal for Spain)...... in the basement and very dark. ..... more brown. As a result we spent very little time at the hotel...... went out each evening. However the location was key for us and would choose this hotel next time

Location. Very close to a bus stop from the airport (even easier than metro) .Easy walk into historic centre. Standard room..... very dark but otherwise fine. Good breakfast at 8 euro. 10-15 minutes easy walk from both train stations and about 2 minutes walk to Plaza Espanya metro

    - twin beds, moving all the time - general strike when we got to the airport - no taxi, no public transport, no shuttle made available by the hotel, no help from them whatsoever; had to walk all the way from the airport to the hotel (~10km) during the night (vs. waiting at the airport for multiple hours for the strike to end) - no electric cup inside the room for tea preparation (4* hotel)

    I cannot find any fault

Very central and value for money. Staff extremely helpful. Although the room needs a facelift it was comfortable and most important clean. The bathroom is centrally heated which was positive in the cold weather. Breakfast was very satisfying and everything freshly baked.

Poor breakfast No parking facility (you could park nearby hotel over the night for 18 euro) No shuttle bus (we arrived after midnight, during a TAXI strike-30.11 in the morning ; when we asked them some help/support for arriving at the hotel they responded there is no shuttle bus and they don't know what we can do. In the end we rented a car to reach the hotel. overall, this is not a 4 Star hotel, but a 3 Star. The quality-price report is almost fair, but they should be classified as a 3 Start hotel

Good location, near the centre of the city. Subway nearby also.

Not having arrange for breakfast we felt we could stay in bed longer in the mornings as there was no rush to get to breakfast' Unfortunately the bathroom of the room next to ours was adjacent to our bathroom. When the guests had a shower, used the toilet or washbasin we could hear the water clearly (fortunately nothing else!!) which included when they got into and out of the shower as the sound of the water changed, each flush and each hand wash!!! This happened at around 7:00 to 7:30 in the morning. One lot of guest must have had a early morning start as they showered in the evening and then we heard nothing more from them! Thankfully!! So that was the noise from next door! Across the corridor from our room was the House Keepers Office/Cupboard. All the chamber maids for the third floor gathered there in the morning to get laundry etc and to have a chat. These "Chats" started at around 8 ish I think. Then we have the noise from outside the building. Double glazing but not the best as noise from outside was audible in the room, particularly the noise of the renovation of an apartment opposite. As was once said about the Solana Hotel in the TV programme Benidorm "If you list it as a 4* people expect more than if it were a 3*. Been there, done that.

Booked for two nights. Staff on arrival were very pleasant and helpful. We were allocated Room 317, one of the larger rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Location and ease of getting to it from the rail station were it's plus points

View from bedroom was to apartment block on opposite side of narrow street so privacy a bit compromised. Breakfast room not really suitable as a dining room although dinner was excellent. No separate bar; drinks in lounge serviced from breakfast/dining room.

Convenient location, close to main railway station. Good breakfast buffet in modern breakfast room. Helpful staff. Happy hour prices were acceptable for city centre.

Well it doesn't look like a four star hotel that's for sure maybe a three, the rooms are rather small. 1.Noise. The room doors are bad and let everything from the hall get in. You can hear everything in detail including door getting open and shut , talks , etc. 2.There was absolutely no vegetables in the breakfast menu. Have not seen that before. The options available were rather poor. 3. There is nothing you can do in the hotel , there is no indoor or outdoor pool , game room and worse of all there is no safe in each room. You will have to ask at the reception if you want your valueables to be stored. 4. Air conditioner was very loud on medium level and hearable on low. You could not sleep unless you either set it on low or turn it off. 5. View from the "balcony"/window was rather dull( tv antennas and dubious neighbourhood)

1.The staff was very helpfull and nice. A big plus. 2.Location of the hotel is very good in regard to sightseeing on foot and pretty close to supermarkets , malls , restaurants. 3.Room was cleaned daily , hotel was very clean. 4.Wifi is good.

The only problem for us was that the windows in the room were actually three portholes which couldn't be opened. Also they did not allow much of daylight in, so the room was quite dark.
