The decor is the most dreary dreadful colour , not what you would expect in a vibrant city hotel . Pool area is awful, dark and dreary.

Would have liked to know the level for adults only was available when booking. Lifts tiny & pur room was quite far from the lifts. OK for us bt not great for someone with poor mobility

Staff lovely hotel clean with great facilities in a great location, I would have thought the cost would have excluded breakfast , as expensive for one week.

The pool should be 3 times bigger.. It was crowdy like an indian train. There was bar tender in the bar ( opposite of front desk) he was a real .. better not to say.. tried to ask 50% more for the toast as It appeared on the menu card.. i asked him why the price is different, took back the bill , and few minutes later gave me the fixed bill without a word ! I went back later , but he was angry , so i decided to walk to the city to eat something . .. was a good decision

We had lunch one day with 2 drinks each, a salad each and we shared the calamari - for 2 of us it was over €85 which was our dearest meal of the whole trip. The food was great but we didn’t have a bad meal anywhere we ate for the whole trip, so would recommend leaving the hotel for food. Upon arrival in the room there was one small complimentary bottle of water despite there being 2 guests in the room. Over a 4 night stay we used the cups and glasses in the room and they were not refreshed until the last night. Having the shower in the solarium area was amazing for being able to use the facilities after checkout, but there is only one shower in the female bathrooms. We were lucky when we arrived there was only 1 person in there so we didn’t have to wait long. However, more and more people arrived as we finished getting ready and a line developed.

Amazing location, right between the beach and the port. Hotel is beautiful! Rooms are clean and spacious. We had a premium sea view room which had a beautiful balcony with a view overlooking the ocean and the pool of the hotel next door. Access to beach side from pool which is amazing! You can bring your pool towels down to the beach too, saved us packing extra. Great market on the port which was on all day and late into the evening. Loads of restaurants close by that are far more affordable and all amazing so no need to eat in the hotel. We did eat in the hotel for lunch - salad and calamari great and portion sizes big. Pool cocktails great - €9-€11. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Some poolside activities during the day for adults - we loved the morning Pilates but missed the sunset yoga. If it had have been a bit earlier we would’ve loved it. It was also in the shaded part of the pool where there was no sunset so could’ve been earlier. We were able to check out and still use the facilities including pool towels, even leave to use the beach. We came back to use the shower and changing in the solarium area before leaving for our flight.

If you order roomservice or take glass from lobby they will remove it when you leave, they clean rooms every day, but not the dishes and glasses :D

Great location, big room, comfy pillows. Next to the beach (super crowded). Breakfast one of the best ones I have seen in Spain.

I would really have to scrape the barrel to find something I didn’t like, but if I was to give constructive feedback it would be the pool bar. It wasn’t particularly busy but it took ages to get served some days. The staff spent more time talking to each other than making drinks and at one point the 3 people behind the bar (including the bar manager) were all making 2 x the same cocktail for one customer while there were another 4 people waiting to be served. The quality of the drinks ranged from really nice to awful some days, an example of this is when the bar tender made a cosmopolitan cocktail using salt around the rim of the glass (which is not required for a cosmopolitan) The cocktail tasted like seawater, but in fairness they did exchange the drink when we took it back. The contrast of this is the lobby bar which I would say was a run extremely well and the staff seemed more interested in customer service.

Check in experience was fantastic, we arrived earlier than expected but was allowed to check into our room. The rooms were as advertised online and were kept clean and beds made and towels changed every day during our stay. I’m glad I opted for the room facing the marina and you get the sun in the afternoon when you get back to the room. I liked the pool area and sun bathing area being next to each other but facing alternative directions i.e one fully in the sun and one part shaded. It gave options if you wanted to get out of the sun for a while. We didn’t experience the “claim your bed all day” you get from some holidays and there was always somewhere to lay. Getting your pool towels and being able to change daily was simple really nice. The hotel internally was nice and cool and the lobby bar was a great place to have a refreshing drink or two. Check out was very easy and again the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting the amazing Alicante

the pool was quite small and busy so we just swam in the sea to cool down

A great location as really close to the beach - which was really clean. Only a short walk into the old town for some great bars and restaurants. We will definitely be back as the transfer from the hotel was really good.

No parking for hotel guests. The second swimming pool pictured in the advert was not clearly labelled as not accessible to ordinary guests. The tone of the reception explaining that access could only be bought with a hotel room upgrade. This two tier system should be clearly labelled and such a labelling should become standard for all hotels with this pricing structure. False advertising or misleading advertising should not be allowed. We arrived thinking we had access to all pool areas and sun lounger areas. So the information at time of booking was incorrect.
