How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

No tea or coffee supplies - after 30th travelling would have been good. Luckily there’s small supermarket across the rd open til 1030pm & small convenience store on opposite corner
Spacious apartment & comfortable bed. Great location near metro & plenty of restaurants etc. automatic checkin in the lobby with good instructions supplied. We had a glimpse of Sagrada but view wasn’t worth pointing out.

Be aware of pick pocketing in metro ( undergroung) and crowded area.

Nothing, we liked everything!
Everything! They thought about everything you need as a tourist..easy check-in, good information and instructions in room (for room and around city), provided little things like dishwashing/washing machine powder (so you don't have to buy it for one load), great facilities with everything you need for 6 adults, excellent customer service (booked taxis) and great location including having a supermarket across the road. 100% recommend!!!

Be great to have a few culinary basics salt,pepper small bottle of oil.

Our apartment didn’t really have a view of the Sagrada. Maybe the other apartments in the building do.
Check in instructions were clear. Elevator in the building. Hosts replied quickly to queries and concerns. The apartment was very near Sagrada Familia.

Pots in the kitchen have curved bottoms, it was hard to cook in them. Also wine corkscrew was missing😊

Check-in was automated at the entrance (by providing scan of documents and payment) and it went smoothly. The apartment is well located very close to Sagrada Familia and short walk from the metro as well as plenty of restaurants and supermarkets.

Bedroom 2 is a little dark and the shower cubicle is tiny but overall a small inconvenience.
Spacious. Clean. Bright. Quiet. Very close to Sagrada Família. Good hot water system. Lovely big windows. Elevator. Supermarket across the road.

The cleaning kit only had one dishwasher tablet. I would have liked one for each night of the stay.
We had TWO bathrooms! The location was great, nice building, spacious and comfortable rooms, great WiFi and customer support was very helpful and quick to respond

I think they should remodel their bathrooms. The cabin work is old and they should include a shower bath holder....for soap, shampoo etc....
Location location location .....maintenance man was very nice when I did not know how to use the inverter heater...also, the opportunity to have our bags stored after check-out was a great feature

I think the only thing I would change was instructions on how to use the washing machine and sofa bed. We ruined a few items of clothing in there but nothing too critical. We had to call to get help with the sofa bed but they were very responsive.
The apt was amazing! Very spacious and had all the amenities. Some super cute coffee shops and breakfast nearby and you can’t beat the location. Walking by Sagrada familia every day was impressive and metro access from there was super easy. I can’t wait to go back.

Could be more clean - I don't like to find hairs from other people-which I found in bathroom, in the tube, on the towel. And there is needed some renovation - the wallpaper from the bedroom needs to be replaced.
