Old, noisy, smelly. The whole place needs an update and a good cleaning. Breakfast was disgusting

Room was very cold. It was a particularly cold snap, but the heating didn't come on until about 5pm and seemed to go off at about 9am (not great when the ski lifts are closed and you want to be in your room). Also when the heating was on, the room didn't warm up that much. Beds were comfy, but could have done with 2 pillows each (there were spare pillows in wardrobe but no pillow covers - we probably could have asked for them).

The location is great. Breakfast buffet good and plentiful.

It was very noisy and you could hear everything going on in the corridor and upstairs. On the balcony of the room someone left beer and soda, which I've noticed on the last day of 3 day stay and no one cleaned it. The room service was a bit chaotic and didn't listen to what you asked them to do, just done their own thing.

Location is great, you're right in the center and close to everything. Great breakfast selection.

The property is really a two star in a four star location. If it wasn't in Sierra Nevada it would be €50 a night ,instead it is quadruple that. The dinner buffet was very poor ,we arrived 10 mins after it began and food was cold .

Really old and dated facilities. Screaming for refurbishment, old bathrooms, chairs at the restaurant falling apart, old mattresses and beds.

Staff were nice and friendly. Reasonably good breakfast for the category.

Our stay included breakfast and dinner. The hotel did not seem busy and the buffet food was left out for hours at a time. Breakfast and dinner was both cold. Cheese that was left out had gone hard. Deserts which should be nice were dry and hard. Overall little care was made to make the food good.

Rooms were spacious, warm and clean although there was not much sound insulation between the rooms.

There was very little to dislike, The pillows were a bit soft and the room was slighty too warm, but by turning off the radiator that problem was solved. Getting there was the biggest issue we flew into Malaga on the Sunday morning landing at 11:15 and the ticket booth for the bus opperators Alsa (Malaga Airport to Granada) was closed. The bus drivers don't take money or card so we had to get the local airport bus into Malaga Bus Station to buy a ticket for the bus to Granada, meaning we missed our connection to the ski resort and had a two hour wait in Granada Bus Station. You can prebook tickets online however with tight timescales between landing and getting the bus sometimes that it not recommended as the tickets are not transferable.

After reading poor reviews about the food, we found it totally the opposite. Dinner:- great cold food buffet section with selection of fresh vegs, fish dishes and tuna to die for. Hot food buffet section was warm (the way we like it) and varied each evening, it had normally hot veg, hot pastas, and a potato based alternative, there were usually three meat, one chicken and two fish dishes, along with the paella which had a different focus each evening and was excellent. The rooms were large with good size ensuite, clean with plenty of storage. The ensuite was also large with a bath and shower combined and clean. I looked for the wires hangin out of teh walls mentioned in a previous comment and it only could have been the 3.5mm jack plug wire below the TV, extremely petty if it was. Overall a great hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

What this hotel could improve is to have a proper food warming system to keep food hot. I advise guests to have dinner earlier than later to have food at proper temperature.

    All great......

Fantastic location - walking distance to everything!! Very spacious room, comfortable beds and hot water. We've stayed at a number of hotels in Sierra Nevada - different ratings and prices - this was the best value for money. Not the trendiest but very clean and comfortable with a great choice of breakfast. We will be back.....!!

The Hotel could do with updating. Every night we could not sleep because of the noise of someone dragging something very heavy across the floor between 1:30 - 2:30 am then tables and chairs and again about 6:30 am the noise started again, the noise was so intense that the furniture in our room shook, our room number was 141, we asked the staff about this and they said someone was moving out of an apartment, but I question this as it was every night for 5 nights that we were there.

Wi-Fi was excellent, The Restaurant had good food and value for money, big bedroom, and the staff were helpful.

Very noisy, the hotel is one floor up from the street. Noisy bars underneath. I had to move rooms due to the music coming up through the floor till 2am and the next room was just as bad. Make sure to ask for a room at the back of the hotel away from the bars. It was pity as everything else was great. The staff are really lovely. One of my kids is Coeliac, they have plenty gluten free options. But not very suitable if you like your sleep!

Our room and our friends room both smelt strongly of stale cigarette smoke. The rooms were really warm and did not have individual thermostats. There was old dust under the beds and the bedding was old and tired and not very comfortable. It made the 4* across the road look like a 6* which is where we spent most of our time. The breakfast was poor quality on practically everything so just skipped on the second day. Not sure when they got their rating... But I was less than impressed
