Enforce a quiet area near the rooms by the bar - don’t let people sit in the area outside the rooms (plenty of other space) Foul bathroom smell at night and first thing (does get better if you ventilate) Dinner service is too late - would love to eat earlier than 7:30pm

I was disappointed by the size of the room. I booked a suite and my expectation, as this was my 3rd visit to the hotel, was that it would have been a suite in the actual hotel itself with a large balcony and private sunbeds as this was what was on the description of the room and we certainly didnt have that which was disappointing. I would also say that although the evening meals in the hotel are fantastic its very limited and I would recommend either increasing the choice or including the lunch menu in the evening for variety.

Breakfast was fantastic and the location is truly beautiful and breathtaking. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend to anyone a fantastic hotel.

Brekfast starts at 8 and that wasnt specified on the website or booking, so I couldnt have breakfast as I had to leave at 8. Unfortunately it wasnt even possible to get a coffee before that time, so it's more recommended for holidays than for business trips like mine

The facilities, grounds and pool were fabulous. Looking out over the mountain everyday was bliss and it was so peaceful The suite was very spacious and tastefully decorated, very nice modern bathroom. The staff could not be more helpful, and the food was amazing at all the settings. Could not fault it. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing quiet break.

Limited pool and spa hours and lots of useless rules I didn't expect in this level of hotel, like towel cards with a fee if not returned. It's a pity the interior decor is such a random mix and often tacky, not remaining authentic to the style of the original structure.

The location is spectacular. The hotel grounds are beautiful. Serene and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was great.

The food was very nice. The location was excellent with lovely surroundings - a place I would definitely come back to for a short stay. The location with the Mountain View’s was amazing. I could lay in the pool all day looking at the Mountain View’s.

Charming old farmhouse, overlooking a beautiful valley. Amazing old trees all around, pool with a great view and excellent breakfast. Large comfortable rooms, with nice bathrooms. Stuff was very helpful and accommodating.

Nothing. Although we did agree that if we were there for more than 3-4 nights we may have felt somewhat bored and feel the need to explore the area and so a hire car would be recommended. Oh and the insect bites - drawback to being surrounded by trees - but easily prevented with a good repellent (something we forgot to pack)

Peaceful retreat with stunning views. All you could hear was nature. Delicious food and drinks (and we are fussy!) served by attentive staff in a beautiful setting. We felt instantly relaxed the moment we got there. We were three friends sharing a junior suite and it was huge. The beds were firm and comfortable and the rooms were old and charismatic, but not in a broken down, dated way. Will definitely return to de-stress some more!

Some basic things for a four star hotel are missing: the presentation of rooms is very basic, there is no toothbrush holder, there is no free water in the rooms (this is standard these days). The service is a bit inflexible at times, though mostly very friendly.  The breakfast is ok but terrible (!) coffee. The hotel should invest in a much better coffee machine, this is also 4* standard these days. Overall, it needs a little modernization but is still a beautiful place with a lot of potential.

The location of the hotel is amazing, in the middle of the mountain, with spectacular views.  Specifically the garden of the hotel is very well taken care of, with nice green patches and ample opportunities to sit, relax, or picnic. The pool sits beautifully in the middle of it.
