Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very friendly staff. I was with a motorbike and could park in the garage. Room is okay. Good enough. Clean bathroom. Beds are okay. Breakfast is good, more than enough. Overall good stay.

Absolutely nothing to say!
An excellent stay. We had been the victims of a robbery on the motorway and were shown amazing kindness by all of the family running the hotel - secure garage offered and help given putting plastic to replace the smashed window. A great price, excellent hotel, excellent food at a great price. Will definitely be back.

I genuinely cannot think of anything - it was just a lovely lovely 3 nights and days that was greatly enhanced through our interaction with the family and staff
The warm and friendly nature of the owner and staff made this an exceptionally pleasurable trip. The homemade cooking is fantastic and very reasonably priced - we ate here every night and are looking forward to going back in October where hopefully it will be warmer and we can enjoy eating in the very quiet and peaceful outdoor seating area. The hotel is well placed for the old town and its a very quiet area so you need to decide on either the quite and authentic Catalan/Spanish experience or being closer to the beach and all that is associated with that.

your site does not give a GOOD DISCRIPTION OF LOCATION This hotel is located far from the main road and unless you know it can be difficult to find
the bar was open after haven driven from Bilbao. The staff was excellent and helpful in telling us how to get back to the main road. we had a meal in the restaurant and were pleased with the food. apleasant night

Car park is public so chose to pay €15 to park securely in a garage 2 minutes walk away.
Friendly staff, clean quiet and comfortable room and good food. Situated in an urban area but safe and quiet 10 minutes or so walk to a couple of shops and cafe's.

The hotel has a restaurant which we appreciated, the food and service were excellent. Parking was free which for Spain is a plus. We were so impressed we are staying two nights on our return journey through northern Spain.

Wifi was there but hardly any throughput.
Clean room, great shower, fresh bathroom, the hotel has an excellent restaurant (accomodated the gluten intolerance of my wife), super friendly staff, spoke english.

It was a great stay for the price. Not a lot to change.
Breakfast room opened a bit late for me as I wanted to get on the road as quickly as possible. Once breakfast was opened it was very nice. It had everything and they even gave me a coffee to go. Nice of them.

The decor is quite old fashioned and only one socket in the room. Noisy extraction fan in the bathroom but nothing to spoil your stay.
The location was good, a nice area and an easy walk to everything. Parking facilities. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything very clean and bed was comfortable. Dinner and breakfast good. A good place for a short stay and will definitely return.

There were only two disappointments - the grounds are tiny and there isn't actually any outside space to sit in, which is not really what the photos make it look like. I only stayed overnight, so this was fine, but if I was staying longer I would be disappointed by this. It's more of a base to explore from than somewhere you stay in to sit around and relax. The bedroom window just looked directly at the neighbouring property. Although the breakfast was tasty, the only choice was whether you wanted cheese and/or ham with your bread. As someone who is not supposed to be eating bread my choice was either to upset my stomach or not eat because there was no fruit/yoghurt/cereal/hot food on offer.
The staff were SO helpful! My flight was delayed and then the SatNav in the hire car just sent me round in circles, so I finally arrived at 1am and the man on reception (manager?) actually walked out onto the main street to direct me back to the little road where the hotel is located!! Even though I don't speak any Spanish, staff were very nice and helpful. In the morning they directed me to local shops, providing a little paper map of the area. The room was really clean, the bedding was fresh and the bed comfortable. There was plenty of space and the ensuite had a lovely big shower, with hair and body wash provided. Towels were also provided. The croissant and baguette for breakfast were huge!
