Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomPerfect location, possibly the only hotel with its own parking garage that has direct access in to the hotel via a lift so extremely convenient considering all other parking options are outside the walled city making traveling with luggage a pain. THE VIEWS wow! Coffee on the terrace in the morning watching the sun rise is magical. The hotel was recently renovated and really nicely done. Fantastic value for money overall. Can’t fault it. We visited many of the towns across Rioja and we realised Laguardia was definitely the right choice as a base as it had a nicely lively vibe every day, plenty of bars, restaurants and small supermarkets, compared to other small towns which felt completely closed and nothing really going on other that pre book wine tours.

United KingdomViews from the balconies and windows were amazing, looking over the valley with all vineyards! The room was lovely, had a kettle and tea and fridge with water, shower was spacious. There was also a small gym at the bottom floor. Freshly squeezed orange juice at the breakfast with a delicious bizcocho. EV charger (11kw?) available with extra fee in the garage.

AustraliaBlown away by the authenticity and hospitality we received, making our stay extra comfortable. Pachico is family owned and you can feel their heart goes into it. Location was incredible; across the road from the historic Laguardia town centre which we loved exploring, and 10 mins by taxi to some great wineries. Stunning Mountain views to enjoy our morning coffee and afternoon wines. Rooms were very clean and newly renovated throughout. Highly recommend and would definitely return to Pachico if we find ourselves in La Rioja again.

AustriaAutomatic Check-in is annoying: we had to add the same Information three times (for each of us) and in the end it did not work. So we had to talk to a person anyway. But in general super nice. The system is just not super great.
Room super comfortable and big. Owner super nice and helpful

United KingdomHaving to leave it.
Everything. If I could give 11/10 I would. Stayed as family (two adults and a one year old) and the apartment was excellent. Appliances new and working well, finishing touches excellent and spotlessly clean. Maria-Jose, the hostess, was beyond outstanding. She’s 10/10. As others have said, don’t bother with terrace apartment unless you want a little privacy. The public terraces are epic. The whole place was refurbed and opened last year and you can tell. Gym is also a nice touch. Location is wonderful too - better than most in town I’d say because you get the incredible view. I’d book here before it realises how nice it is and increases the prices 😂

United KingdomNothing, couldn’t ask for more.
Super clean and incredibly friendly, probably the most welcoming arrival we’ve ever had… And we’ve been places! We came with our greyhound and he was treated like royalty. The room was exceptionally well prepared for him and he was treated like another member of the family. Also, this stay was part of a longer trip in our Land Rover Defender camper; we didn’t think it would fit in the car park. Not only did it fit with help of the family running the hotel, but they kindly let us two spaces with it… It’s a big car! It was so reassuring to be able to leave our beloved car in a secure spot for a few days. Finally, logistics on the day of our arrival meant we arrived way later than their official reception times. Upon notifying them, they went the extra mile to be there for our late arrival… Couldn’t ask for more!

An amazing view to the vineyards from the window. Very clean, spacey, comfortable and nicely decorated room. Private garage under the hotel. The hostess was very attentive; despite her poor English skills we really felt welcomed there. 2 minutes walk to the center of Laguardia which is definitely worth to visit for its old streets and many bars.

Lovely modern hotel in a beautiful old town. The location of the hotel could not be better and is very easy walking distance to the old town of Laguardia which is most certainly well worth a visit. Hotel staff were friendly and the standard of cleanliness was very high. Rooms are comfortable and easily met our needs.

United KingdomThere is nothing to dislike it’s all good
This is a delightful hotel , very modern and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and the views from our bedroom terrace were amazing . There are several public terraces for sitting or sunbathing . The hotel is literally across the road from one of the gates into the pedestrianised walled town . There are numerous cafes / restaurants. And Bodegas so you are spoilt for choice for lunch or dinner. The hotel staff are all very welcoming and helpful , Highly recommend visiting LaGuardia and stay in this hotel if you are looking to visit this area of Rioja

United KingdomNot a complaint - just a tip! Don’t pay extra for room with terrace as when you sit on the room terrace you have no view as end wall blocks it - instead use common terrace off from the dining area as this has glass wall and tremendous views.
Super clean hotel. Excellent breakfast. Friendly family run place.
