On our arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who let us park our motorcycle under cover, later she prepared us an evening meal with a couple of bottles of local wine it was very good. It is a great property decorated to a high standard, it is located on the edge of a sleepy village, very quiet,

Some silly person had damaged the baize on the pool table making it difficult to play well.

Very pleasant staff who spoke reasonably good English, exceptonal build material, scenery pleasant especially for people with an interest in wine.

The way coffee is served in glass carafes ensures its cold! You can hear other guests through the doors.

We ahve stayed here before and this rural hotel is as well kept and run as ever. Roast lamb dinner needs to be pre-ordered- food limited but lovely. Village is very quiet but has a nice bar. rur

A bit cooler than expected in March as heating system turns off at night. Basic food menu and don't expect much for breakfast unless you pay extra.

Nice quiet area and staff tried to do best with language..

    Had to leave!

Lovely private Bodega providing everything someone traveling through could ask for. I could add some lovely pics but the wifi where we are now won't allow it!!

No other restaurants in the village. No bar in the hotel so had to go to the local bar in the village despite the fact there was a tray full of spirits in the dining room, these were not offered. Menu at hotel VERY limited. Out of a long list of main courses only 2 were available. Long list of desserts only fresh fruit and ice cream available. Very disappointing.

    the wine was excellent.

Pago de Trascasas was booked as a convenient stopover on the way to Santander but would be worth visting for longer. From the the autovia the area doesn't look very inviting but after driving the few kilometers to Cubillas de Santa Marta the landscape is much more interesting. Set in a very quiet village, this is a comfortable and characterful little hotel with excellent service, good food and very good wine, which is made next door. Highly recommended.

No A/C in the bedrooms and they didn't have electric fans - difficult to sleep in hot weather

Food and wine - very good. Charming young lady Receptionist - Ines - very helpful and trying so hard to speak English.

    Nothing

The personal attention of the owner, Inez. This included a morning tour of the Bodega. Wonderful. An ideal stop both from and to the ferries.

A lovely quiet spot and the staff were a real treat - beyond friendly. Despite being the only guests nothing was too much trouble. Also great wine.

The paintings in the restaurant did not do the place justice - sorry if I have offended the artist - a very small winge really!

Great restaurant, with good ambiance. The receptionist really made us welcome and tried her very best with speaking English. Very refreshing to be in a tastefully appointed small hotel, rather than a soul less modern joint .

    Nothing. All was very good.

The personal attention to detail. We were made to feel important and nothing was too much trouble.Although the village is small, there is a bar within a few minutes walking distance.

A bit difficult to find the address and very dry in autumn.

Very friendly staff and we'll equipped hotel. We enjoyed staying one night there although noting to visit in that area. The dinner was one of the best meals I had in Spain.
