Nothing. The shower door in Room 224, where we stayed, is partially broken and needs attention but that is a very small matter in relation to the beauty of the property and room and the outstanding friendliness of the staff.

It was clean; the room was beautiful and spacious; and the surrounding hillsides were beautiful!

The place is simply gorgeous. We chose it by how close it was to the airport on the last night of our trip (7 min!), and it ended up being one of the highlights. The hotel has an upscale restaurant and a bar, so it has options for everyone. The little indoor pool was a nice surprise.

The location is wonderful, a short drive outside Bilbao city but nestled in the beautiful hills. Gorgeous views from the hotel room. We loved every minute of our stay here. The family room we had booked for two adults, two teens, was enormous; the bathroom was spacious, the beds were super comfortable. Fabulous place to stay.

Everyone was so friendly, helpful and very thoughtful! After looking at my sons ID upon check in they noticed he would be celebrating his 16th birthday while we were there. They had treats in the room and surprised us with a birthday treat after our dinner. The property was very beautiful.

There is nothing to be mentioned. Some people would mention that it is a bit remote from the city on a hill with a fantastic view. But with rental car very close to the city (9 minutes).

Very nice old palace surrounded by golf course. The hotel is well restored keeping the architecture and flair. The personal is very polite and reactive. Fantastic breakfast with very good variety of local products. Very nice landscape and view. Free parking with a lot of space.

The hotel is close to Bilbao in a secluded area with nice nature. The staff was efficient and professional. The room is very large and comfortable. The price without breakfast was great, breakfast is quite expensive. Definetely one depends on car to get to Bilbao.

The hotel is in the outskirts of Bilbao, which suited us fine. The surroundings are beautiful and tranquil. We were on a road-trip so it was very easy to park there. The room was large with high ceiling.

Everything! Location was fantastic for Bilbao & many other great places, also the airport. All just 15 minutes away. Rooms are fabulous & tasteful with great views. Food & wine also excellent.

I think the room can have some additional items such as a carpet, tissue boxes for guests and some paintings or pictures as the walls seemed a bit bare.

The view and atmosphere was great and very relaxing as it have us the feeling of natural retreat. The food menu was delicious and reflective of the local cuisine. The view and nature surrounding was breathtaking.

We arrived at lunch time and it was very busy, our waiter was a little impatient with us at the beginning and it made us uncomfortable. Once he relaxed, his attitude change and he was nicer.

We loved the breakfast and the cafetería where we could have a light lunch.

The air-conditioning is less intense than US standards, we had to open windows to cool off at night.

Room Is great, comfortable and large. The bathroom is well appointed and modern. The food is fabulous. One of the best breakfasts we ever had at a hotel. Very nice to have the bar and restaurant right there, as well as beautiful grounds to walk.

The dinner was average and I was surprised to see that the food at breakfast was not covered at all but everything was open on a large table with people leaning over to help themselves. Also no reference to the coffees and teas to non Spanish speaking guests.

Fabulous hotel. Very comfortable and lovely spacious room and bathroom.
