Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomAs with a lot of all-inclusive hotels, the food wasn’t as hot as we would have liked. However, microwaves were available so it was easily resolved. Our room (1048) was a superior sea view, but the bathroom was showing signs of needing a re-furb.
Overall it was an excellent hotel with good facilities and great staff. Everywhere was very, very clean & the heated pool was welcome. Evening entertainment was very good.

United KingdomEntertainment in the evening was mainly singing which got a bit boring after a while. Pool/Air Hockey tables were busted due to either not having correct balls in the tables. All Inclusive drinks at the pool bar during the day are very limited in choice.
Great hotel, 3 large pools, lots of free activities and entertainment during the day. Although busy, lots of food for choice. The snack bar being open from 11pm to 8am was a bonus, especially when wanting to go out for the day early and breakfast only starting at 8am. Hotel staff were attentive and always happy to help. My partner is coeliac and they were great in preparing gluten free food for her. The location of the hotel is brilliant, walk out the gate and you are on the beach, wonderful views for a sunset walk.

IrelandFelt the reception staff( girls) could be friendlier... It's a pity as the resort is beautiful.
Loved how the pool area was not over crowded and no problem finding a lounger. Music was really relaxing and not too loud also.

United KingdomReception staff were not very helpful and hassled us upon arrival about the booking voucher without having given us any information that they required this (and we didn't have any cellphone reception. Also we have never had such a request before with any booking via booking.com)
We enjoyed the location, evening entertainment and the room was comfortable overlooking the national park from the private terrace. The staff were friendly and hard working and professional. There were enough bars and entertainment areas like several swimming pools, gym, tennis, table tennis and pool tables. The hotel was half full when we there in early April so there weren't long queues at the bars.

United KingdomParts of hotel looked as though need some work and the bedrooms had lino flooring not tiles which you would expect in a 4 star hotel. Bathrooms were clean and functional but a bit basic as in no tiles on walls or floor instead has like formica panels. There were quese for some of the bars at times.
Hotel itself was nice and lots of room round the pools. Enteetainmentbwas good and staff friendly and helpful.

IrelandBetter coffee and tea selection in the morning.
It was a great location by the sea. Loved my room and the facility to kayak from the hotel. The breakfast was good but would prefer better tea selection and coffee in the morning! The staff Vanessa at reception, the spa facilities. Ana was the best masseuse and Isabel was a great beautician. The bedroom staff samira and Angela were very kind and helpful.

United Kingdomthe room smelt of damp and I only noticed when I was leaving that the wall by the main door had a lot of evidence of damp. not good for me as I have asthma. this needs to be addressed before more people are allocated this room (808). there were lots of stains in the carpeted halls leading to the rooms which made the hotel feel shabby. A lot of the tiles around the pools and other communal pathways were broken and taped over to prevent trips when they should have been repaired. I had booked bed and breakfast and then paid extra to eat in the all inclusive restaurant for 2 nights. however the food was very samey each night with only a change to the veg being the obvious difference. it was also predominantly English food so a bit boring.
whilst a walk to the main town for shops and restaurants the hotel is very close to the gorgeous natural golden Sandy beaches. it’s a huge hotel with lots of good facilities such as a spa, a Good size gym and many swimming pools. room was also large and kept reasonably clean. all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

IrelandThe room given..I felt it was dated &needed complete refurbishment..the bathroom is very outdated with a shower over bath which had cylicone everywhere..got it hard to get tap on bath to switch to shower operation..I felt the bath very light plastic I question how this area can be properly cleaned as there's a half wall ...the whole bathroom needs complete overall. In times of covid this should be no.1 priority.
I felt the food selection was wonderful plenty of choice.
