Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe lateness of the opening times for the restaurant we had had a long drive and wanted to eat dinner earlier than the restaurant opened it appears most Spanish restaurants open at 21.00h but we wanted to get to bed early as we had another long drive the next day. We ate at the restaurant but didn't sleep so well eating that late. Next time we will eat in the cafeteria.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our stay near to the main road but far enough away so it was quiet. Good size room with everything you need. Breakfast was amazing lots of choices including made fresh to order hot food. Wish we had longer to see the beautiful countryside. Parking was good, plenty.

United KingdomA minor problem. Tesla car charger not available so had to trickle charge from a normal socket which wasn’t ideal but was ok. Apparently one of the Tesla chargers was not working and the other was occupied. Fortunately we were there for long enough to charge to 50%

United KingdomNothing. Couldn’t fault the hotel or staff.
We always try to include a night in a Parador when we do a road trip in Spain. This was our third Parador. It is a nice break from the bustle of the cities/towns we visited on our trip. Calm and peaceful stay. Room was very good. Clean and spacious. Room had a garden area which was a bonus we weren’t expecting. Lunchtime snacks in the courtyard area were very nice. We booked dinner bed & breakfast, fantastic value for money. The evening 3 course meal was so good. Little extra bonus dish from the chef was a nice touch. Food was delicious. Couldn’t fault any course and waitress was so helpful with menu. The dining room is very impressive with dark wooden ceiling and plenty of space between tables. Same room for breakfast. Loads of choice and we weren’t rushed at all.

United KingdomIt would be nice to have some literature about the building's original state, the history for us visitors.
It's an old palace which has been converted into a lovely comfortable hotel.

United KingdomWe always prefer a separate shower. The arrangement with the bath was however acceptable as the shower worked well, the bath was non-slip and low and the low wall at the end of the bath made getting in and out of the bath safe and easy even for a 70 year old with arthritis. We always like tea and coffee making facilities in our room but know that Paradors tend not to offer these. Therefore this was not a surprise but we wish it would change. Parking was handy, well designed and close but when the hotel was busy there was not enough space and parking occurred outside the marked spaces and on the road. Dinner service was good but one lady was reather unfriendly as we were a little late dining after the Iron Man Competition. The Head Waiter was charming however and his friendliness and flexibility mad up for his colleague's attitude.
Reception staff were charming and most helpful Breakfast was good. Restaurant is a beautiful room. Cafe was good and friendly. Sitting-out facilities are first class. Room was lovely. Parking was generally good but see below.

United KingdomIf there was one criticism it would be that the air conditioning in my bedroom could have been cooler- but honestly that’s it.
Wonderful Spanish architecture- stone or wood floors with rugs, large airy rooms, high ceilings, wide staircases. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast (and dinner if eating in) was at the top of the hotel (and was a lovely room). Good food. I was with friends supporting a competitor in an Ironman competition, so on race day we were up (very) early and back late ….. they laid on early breakfast for competitors and followers- and we ended up having dinner pretty late…. but staff and kitchen were fantastic. I can recommend the Jamón Iberico and the shoulder of lamb! The Parador is easy to find in Argomaniz, and the views over the countryside are super. The area is known for being a bit of a cyclist’s paradise apparently! There is a beautiful garden and terrace to relax in. If you prefer inside, then there are a couple of lounge areas - all very comfortable.
