The wifi signal was woeful even in the common areas!! As it is in all Paradores. There is no air conditioning in this hotel and the night we stayed was quite warm and it would have been good to have a fan at least to push the air around.

The atmosphere in the bar was great. The rooms a little small but relatively comfortable.

Duplex room was ridiculous! So little floor space that you have to climb around the spiral staircase to get to the wardrobes and the small two seat sofa; really small double bed on mezzanine under the pitched roof; hot and stuffy even with the velux window open and even though the reception staff turned down the heating to 18 degrees. Wifi was frequently unusable particularly around 5 to 7pm which is presumably when lots of guests are trying to use it and perhaps overloading the network.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice cosy bar area (although the lovely open fire occasionally smokes out the whole bar!) Nespresso coffee for breakfast. Well situated in lovely Arties with easy parking.

The bathrooms are due an upgrade but shower was good and hot. More lighting in the bedrooms and the ability to control the heating better. We were too hot really.

The bar and lounge areas are really lovely. The staff are friendly and drinks aren't overpriced. The rooms are a bit gloomy and overheated-well ours was. We stayed two years ago and had a much brighter one. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is inviting and the staff are very helpful.

We liked everything. The facilities, the location and the staff.

This is a great place to stay. The facilities are excellent as is the staff. The hotel is located in an idyllic small town that begs to be explored. I hope we are able to return. The whole group really enjoyed the stay.

Staff were not very dynamic. You had to ask for everything and they would not help you with bags. Service was slow as they spent a long time chatting to other guests. Bedrooms can be stuffy in summer as the hotel is more geared up for Skiing.

Excellent breakfast. Lovely pool and stunning views. Arties is lovely and we found a good restaurant nearby and a bar that made excellent gin and tonics?

For younger folks who don't remember pre-globabalist era, this hotel is a worthy traditional-in-all-positive-meanings-of-the-word Med Coast experience. Stay here, and contrast the experience with the anti-experience: characterless corporatist competitor developments, with hotels named Trump/Hilton/Melia/W etc.

The whole place smelled very strongly of paraffin used for cooking and heating. We left with terrible 'paraffin' headaches.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location of the parador was great as we were on a driving trip in the mountains, so this was a perfect stop in a lovely location. We walked into the little town which is quaint. Our room was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. We had lunch on the patio overlooking the pool, and the food was good and the view very nice up into the mountains.

The pool was freezing. August and so cold we could not use it. Mainly booked the hotel for that so very disappointed. Also massive noise of hotel bins being cleared every night in middle of night.Avoid a bedroom around the bin courtyard.

The whole experience of staying is this paradore was absolutely dreadful. The man on front desk was most unfriendly and unhelpful. Insisting we had drinks we hadn't had. The bedrooms were in need of not only modernising but repairing. Dripping toilet, no hot water, crack in sink, sink pop up plug, would not work....I shall stop there and just say, please do not stay here, if you like decent accommodation.
